Or for any olive oil based vinaigrette dressings. I love my fats----------olive oil, coconut oil, hummes made with lots of tahini and olive oil ,advocado and you name it! Guest LadyC Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 truth is, anything marked low fat or "lite" is ALWAYS less nutritious than the full fat counterpart. fats are an important part of our diet.... and they're important for mental acuity... they keep our brain healthy. there are good fats and bad fats, of course, but as a general rule of thumb, you should never go "lite". I think corn syrup is far more damaging. As for bleu cheese, one either likes it or hates it. I have also had a gorgonzola cheese dressing that is great. More of a bite to it. Spent over and hour getting rimmed out because my blood sugar levels are to high, as well as everything else. The appointment was scheduled for only 15 minutes...I complained that they were making me late for the all you can eat pancakes at I Hops. Some people have no sense of humor!
