In his book titled "Saddam's Secrets" General Georges Sada (a Christian and military advisor to Saddam) states that Saddam indeed had weapons of mass destruction at the time of the second gulf war just like all of the intelligence agencies of many countries reported - including the USA. Sada says that there was a failure of a large dam in Syria and Saddam used this tragedy to disguise his movement of the WMD'S to Syria. Sada knew the pilots who told him what happened. Saddam sent "disaster relief" to Syria which was really WMD'S. He used a Boeing 737 and 727's which were completely stripped out. There were 56 sorties to Syria. Also he used commercial trucking to ship an unknown number of tons of WMD'S over land. All of this happened under the noses of the western military.

I canvassed the news media when his book went on the market (2006-07?) and as expected there was a total news blackout on this new and important information. Hannidy had a brief interview and that was it. I don't doubt that Syria has WMD'S but I think the source was Iraq for some or all of their WMD'S.

Are you thinking clearly?

Justification for the invasion of Iraq was almost entirely based upon the existence of weapons of mass destruction. Why would there have been a news blackout on information that could have prevented the embarrassment of not finding wmds in Iraq? If published by the legitimate press, such news would have reinforced the American purpose for the invasion. The truth is that there was nothing to be found either then or now.

Instead you suggest that another piece of disinformation providing the only evidence FOR wmds was somehow covered up BY the very people that would have gained advantage of it. Such an assertion is nonsense ...... unless another move by the military war lords of America were being planned. A 'police action' in Syria, perhaps?

If the Sada scenario is accepted as fact, which it obviously isn't, it would justify yet another military incursion into a middle east nation that did America no harm. How many times are we expected to swallow the same lie? When wmds aren't found in Syria where do we invade next? Iran? Yes, certainly.

As we read and write about the fate of people far from our shores and the ultimate fate of our sons in uniform let's be cognizant of the fact that President Obama and President Erdogan of Turkey have already had several meetings to discuss and plan the disposition of Syria following the fall of the Assad regime. It is a foregone conclusion that this will happen. The only question is when. (Close to election day? That would be convenient wouldn't it?)

Following the momentous non-event of the collapse of the Syrian government what will be said of the failure of anyone to find wmds there? Once again a lie revealed.

There is yet one lie remaining - the final move of wmds into Iran. Yes brothers, we must invade that country as well, in search of that which never existed in the first place.

The ultimate object for all the middle east games is the invasion of Iran by western forces. Such a scenario might be reminiscent of the battle of the Chosin Reservoir but with a terribly different outcome. The Medvedev Doctrine would justify the use of Russian TNWs (tactical nuclear weapons) against such an invasion "in order to de-escalate the situation". (Russian words, not mine) This is purely a hypothetical situation, but if the American military experienced a Stalingrad type defeat in Iran, the resulting power vacuum would put a hook into the mouth of the Muslim world that would be impossible to resist.

In such an event it would not be hard to imagine a man of ancient names rising to the occasion to make peace between the warring factions of Islam. Muslim prophecy says that when the black flag (shia) and the green flag (sunni) unite, the armies of Allah would march upon Israel carrying the battle flag (red & green) of the prophet Mohammad before them.

In a final note here, it is of interest to point out that Revelation 2:12 names Pergamun, Turkey as the throne of Satan upon the earth. Did you know that the battle flag of Mohammad is kept in a museum in Istanbul? (not far from Pergamun) Did you also know that the offices of the Syrian National Council in Istanbul have been the collection point for money and weapons to support the Syrian rebels? The money sources are Saudi Arabia & Qatar with a small amount of support from UK & France. (Hurriyet Daily News June 14, 2012) The United States has provided additional man power support in the form of Al Qaeda mercenaries (Hillary Clinton admits it) as it did in Libya (John McCain called them heroes at the time.) This is almost an exact duplicate of the employment of US sponsored contras in Nicaragua in the 1980s, death squads and all (without direct CIA funding of course).

There is great evil afoot in the middle east these days and we are in it up to our necks.

Because the leadership of America did not consider the advice of wise men (incl. President Jimmy Carter) in the 1970s to do everything necessary to rid ourselves of dependence upon foreign oil, we are now reduced to playing the role of puppet to our masters in Arabia. America stands to lose much if the debacle of constant invasions continues. The only way to stop the madness - is to cease involvement in these foreign affairs.

But then America has a hook of middle east oil firmly planted in its own mouth, doesn't it?

God's will be done. The foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of man. Hook follows hook and we are all being drawn towards the -second- greatest event in human history.

but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...
