Herod was making fun of him, he gave him that strange rope when he sent him back to Pilot. So I think Herod didn't take him seriously, that's why I find it just reasonable not to say anything...

Good day

Thomas

There was a genuine dislike, if not hatred, between Yeshua and Herod.

Now that is something to ponder . . . Jesus may have actually hated a sinner.

I think Jesus knew Herod's heart, and that Herod had no love for truth, or for the Father.

I agree with you Wingnut, it could have been another case like with King Solomon, he saw the Lord numerous times (3 I believe ?) Yet still denied Him and turned to the world. Jesus knows the heart so possibly Herod was not as good natured as he seemed.

I guess my question got missed:

Why do we keep debating with atheists who have chosen completely in their hearts to reject God? Would Jesus have done this?

You know that I am a former atheist, Nebula. have you ever seen me debate them?

I tell them to go argue with the tree. Even the leaves know their Creator.

ONLY a fool has said in his heart, "there is no god".

Yeah, kind of-f funny!

But I'm wondering why no one else is picking up on this?

I hear ya sis.

However, Yod came to faith and it was God who did it.

I believe that we just have to live our lives of faith and witness when the Holy Spirit prompts us, God does the rest.

Meanwhile, Jesus did nothing that He first did not see or hear the Father doing. He did the Fathers will.
