What believe Unitarians?

Does anybody knows Unitarians?

And what do they believe?

Anything and everything. all are under the big ole warm fuzzy blankie of PC acceptance and ignorance of scripture. Lesbian couples can be married in the unitarian church, and the one I visited had a lesbian MINISTER. I also knew a girl in college who believed in Christ but not God  who went to a unitarian church because whatever she personally believed would be ok. She said she never felt "persecuted" there.

I thought it was something like that, there was a notice in our newspaper which said they are going to have meetings in the University in where we live.

That is sad, so many young people getting decieved in this kind of thinking.

7. We believe in the ethical application of religion. Good works are a natural product of a good faith, the evidence of an inner grace that finds completion in social and community involvement.

8. We believe in the motive force of love. The governing principle in human relationships is the principle of love, which always seeks the welfare of others and never seeks to hurt or destroy.

9. We believe in the necessity of the democratic process. Records are open to scrutiny, elections are open to members, and ideas are open to criticism - so that people might govern themselves.

10. We believe in the importance of a religious community. The validation of experience requires the confirmation of peers, who provide a critical platform along with a network of mutual support. - David O. Rankin

As I understand it, they are associated with or an offshoot of the Unification Church of Rev. Sun Y. Moon. {Moonies}

They sound like New Age , they deny that Jesus is divine.

They also deny the authority and accuaracy of the Scriptures.

That means they are a cult and not of God.

Well they have their own new religious writings..They are staunch in their beliefs..but of course we're all dummies because it hasn't been revealed to us yet..!

Best I can figger is they are a new age type group..where everybody goes to heaven...and They have all the answers to the ages..!  Sorry it's been a few yrs since I butted heads with any of em..
