Islam wouldn't be around too long. (I'm not advocating the west do this, at all, I'm just saying, thinking about it from a reverse perspective, about all they can do is storm embassy walls due to how weak and inconsequential their actual militaries actually are, as the west is many orders of magnitude more powerful than the muslims, militarily - it would not end well for them). Technically, yes, but it wasn't the "government" doing it, so this almost certainly won't be considered that by the administration.

By international law, a US embassy in Egypt, or anywhere else, is considered to be US soil. And this applies to all embassies of all nations. If some nut scaled the wall of any embassy and was shot by that embassy's security forces, they would be entirely within their rights. So I honestly believe the "protesters" who scaled that wall and tore down our flag should have been considered enemy invaders and shot on the spot. I saw this and am appalled. It's as if they're saying the "protesters" have every right to invade our embassies and kill our people because their feelings were hurt. What about our feelings? Seeing my flag ripped to shreds hurts my feelings. Hearing the lies the Muslim world continues to perpetrate against the Jewish people hurts my feelings. Seeing almost 3000 lives taken in an act of indescribible terror hurts my feelings. Yet, we (Americans) are still considered to be the ones at fault, deserving of all that we get, AND expected to apologize for being the victims. Neb, I believe that this was done before they attacked the embassy's. They understood how the people of these two countries would react when they got word of the video's from the Islamic news people promoting violence. It still urks me that they did so even before the voilence. If we don't realize that Islam is at war with Western Civilization we're going to loose the war before we even realize it's being waged. Problem is that not everyone living in Islamic countries are really Islamic and believe it's core teachings..... so it's hard to know who your enemy really is...... kind of like Viet Nam was. We lost that one, and we'll loose this one too if we don't do something different.
