Some say that these kind of questions are dumb. Not so if it makes us go to the Word or if it makes us draw closer to the Lord or it tests our faith and our beliefs....

Ill see if i can simplify my statement..

A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. Period.

Just like a rock is a rock, a bird is a bird, and the sky is blue.

There is NO need whatsoever for the average person to add or take away anything from that.. it JUST IS. Its a thing. It flies. So what.

If youre trying to figure out if the idea of actual ALIEN CONTACT is good/bad/ugly/just-plain-made-up.. then I think youll have to make your own conclusions and stick by them.. some people will agree with you, and some people wont.

And also.. Something I read somwhere.. 1% of 'UFO' reports are hoaxes.

You know what the rest of the reports usually turn out to be?

NOT Aliens.

Airplanes, helicopters, weather balloons, birds, various astronomical events, shooting stars, planets, stars close to the horizon.. these become IFOs, Identified Flying Objects...

It seems that very rarely after investigation is there no explanation for a particular UFO.

the nearest star is 4 light years ( 4 years traveling at the speed of light ) away....

personally, unless they have developed super technology, such as suspended animation, or as in the movie the black hole, green houses for outer space, or extra large craft to carry enough supplies to last, i honestly do not believe there are aliens that can reach this earth.... as far as other planets in this great big universe, i dont see why there wouldnt be, and as far as God creating life on them, i can see it.... but i dont believe they would be like man......

as far as UFO...... all they are is an object that is not readilly identifiable that is air bourne...... such as a box kite that has christmas tree lights strung on it and is flying at night....... ( that was a good news paper article in Des Moines Iowa a good number of years ago )......

Here's the thing. Distance. It's a killer. The energy it takes to get from one star to another is immense. So if you are going you better really have a good reason. Because its going to take a lot of energy and a lot of time. It's probably a lot easier to simply send signals and exchange information that way.

For those worried about invasion. The question is why? There is nothing on earth worth stealing it wouldn't be easier to get else where other than our particular form of life. But there is no reason to target our life. We likely are not tasty to a species evolved on another planet. We are not a resource they can exploit. Slave labor? Not likely. A species that can travel between the stars but can't make robots? Its simply not efficient to use slave labor.

The only reason to travel to another planet is to meet the people or further your understanding of the universe. All this will be preceded with electronic surveylance and that will be detected (yes we are looking) long before any craft shows up.

Just think about it. A race of alien beings so far advanced that they can travel thousands of times faster than the speed of light which is what it would take to go solar system hopping. With this type of technology that is not even on the scope of reachable goals here on earth, why would they come here? What could they learn from us? Why would they say "Take me to your leader"? If they can figure out how to do all of the above, dosen't it seem reasonable that they could find our leaders? Seeing UFOs are a sin. They bible clearly teaches us not to get drunk of of wine which is probably what happens before someone sees a "UFO". If you weren't drunk, GET HELP TODAY!!!!!!

aliens, are alien to what we call reality, but are natrual born spiritual beings with a thrist for destroying God's kingdom and people any way they can get a chance to.

Aliens are alien to reality? Um. If they exist and are visiting us they are alien to this planet not the universe. And if they were interested in destroying us it wouldn't be that difficult. If they can cross the vastness of space they probably have the means to drop an asteroid on us or something else fairly destructive. No need to be subtle when you are about destroying an entire planet for no particular reason.

First of all the bible is quite clear on the subjects on life on other planets. Look at Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Then in Genesis 1:14-19 in verse 16 he says he made our sun and the stars. So our earth is older then the universe cause God created the earth first and then the stars. Unsaved man got it backwards saying the universe came in a big bang and then came the earth. In Genesis 1:26 God said let us make man "no mention of any Green aliens" in our image. If you look at most pics of aliens today they look more like the image of their father the devil. But there are aliens in the bible look at Ephesians 2:12 Kjv it says That at times ye were without christ , being aliens from the commonwealth of Isreal and strangers from the covenants of promise having no hope and without God in the world. All true christian were at one time aliens but now we are in Jesus so we are no longers aliens. But the unsaved man is an alien to God. Every since the fall unsaved man has always created a false god for him to worship weather it a wood idol or little green alien from another planet. Look at the Heavengate cult all those people kill them self thinking that there green gods would beam then up and take them to there home world the only alien homeworld those people will go to is the Lake of Fire. The only aliens we as True christians we should be concern about is unsaved man. We need to pray for their souls and preach the Word to them that some might be saved. AMEN
