Will you refuse the "Mark"?

am i alone in thinking that as long as i keep focused on Jesus my Lord, my God and do all i can in my daily life to make sure i'm growing in relationship with Him and representing Him well to those around me that I don't need to worry about all this stuff...

if you think the chip may be the mark...don't get it...simple...pray about it, let God advise you!

if you think america may be the beast...focus on God, live your life representing Him well to those around you and He has promised He will be with you and look after you..

why focus on all of this? why spend time worrying about the end times when you could be keeping busy dwelling on the promises of God for you!! praise Jesus there is such good news! we are saved!

go now...reach others, tell them the good news, let this take up the days and hours of your life...not sitting worrying about the beast...the beast is already defeated when you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you! bring others to salvation!!!

I'm not saying don't be aware of what's going on in the world or never think about it at all...but it seems some of you may be spending a little too much time dwelling on this when there are so much more pressing things to worry about...like your neighbour who doesn't know Jesus loves them! Died for them! lives again! will return!

am i making sense to anyone else or is there some point to stressing about this that I'm missing?

Go to your 1970's strongs before they added in all the popular opinions so that they could sell books and software. You will find that the mark in the hand is tubular to the notion of being grasped and pressed in or on and is a kings signet. The mark on the head is the uppermost portion of the body behind the face to the notion of being sculpted. The number of the beast is a mans number. 

The mark in the hand is your pen and signature used to swear a false oath to the nation. (beast) The mark on the head is the wellset hair Which god has always hated all through the bible. The number of the beast that is a mans number here in the U.S. is your social security number or any number that any nation has given you to I.D. you.

If the soc is, as you suggest, the mark, then most people born in the US will not enter the kingdom of heaven, as their parents apply for the number for them. I do not believe God to be so merciless as to damn children to hell for their parents actions. Are you suggesting that the mark is not something that each and every person will have to choose, of their own free will, to take?

Revelation 13:17 says:

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

It is most definitely possible to buy and sell without a social security number, albeit a bit more difficult.

It would also seem to me that the mark will not come in to existence until the things spoken of earlier in chapter 17 come to pass.

11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

I do not believe that these things have come to pass just yet. We are definitely headed there, though.

I have already read most of this thread, I'm pretty sure I have a fairly solid understanding of what everyone is saying here.

Dear Friends,

              We are aware of the "Mark", and that unless you have the "Mark" you won't be able to "buy" or "sell" and you're life will come to a standstill. Are you willing to refuse the "Mark"?  What do you think will happen to you or your family? Will you go hungry? Will you lose your house? How about your car or cars? Are you deep in your faith enough to refuse the "Mark" ?  I would like to hear from as many people as possible on this,from the US as well as other countries. I myself have made the decision to refuse the "Mark" when it comes. I have already written the government and told them I will refuse the "Chip". My son will refuse it also. I am disabled and I have to use foodstamps, so this will prove to be interesting. My foodstamps come in the form of a card with a "Smartchip" on it just like a credit card. That is as far as I will go. I pay my bills with money orders only, or cash. The rest of the time I use cash. I refuse to have a credit card or checks. I also homeschool my son. I know that may be strange to some , but I am trying my best..........I would really know what others feel about not taking the "Mark" and if they are willing to take the "Stand" for Jesus even in the face of "Disapproval" from the governments....

Doesn't the Bible say that those who recieve the mark are traitors or something like that? I dont know where I heard that.... but the mark is the mark of the beast.

Refuse it?
