The war against Satan.

I turn on my television set to images of war, death, disease, destruction, sin, blasphemy and everything anti-Christian you can imagine. More and more people are turning away from Christ to pursue a selfish life of pleasures of the flesh. How do you fight this? Satan is so powerful, is it possible for all us Christians to join together and fight him? I have had personal horrorish experiences with the unholy one before. He has attacked me and tried to make me worship a false idol Christ.

Society now believes Satan is false and just another demon in mythology. Some liberal Church's flat out REJECT Satan and Hell! Talk about sheep in wolves clothing. How do we fight Satan and convince people to come to Christ when society has rejected Satan as real? Sure there are still Christians out there today but we are outnumbered. The Lord Jesus Christ has been replaced by a more eastern, buddhist new age type of Jesus who is a univeralist. THIS IS DANGEROUS THINKING. I'm worried, very worried. My own daughters have fallen victim to the trickery of Satan.

Christians must unite together and declare war on the father of lies in the name of God.

I turn on my television set

Satan makes a lot of use of that little box.

I recommend reading your bible and praying a lot, and the worry will go away, and your daughters then have a hope in Jesus Christ.

Satan is defeated. He was defeated long ago, but he does keep up an active advertising program, and all that agree to be taken captive by him, he certainly is willing to take them captive.

We Christians must love the Lord Jesus Christ, and we must obey Him. He said search the scriptures, not just glance at them from time to time if you are not too buzy watching TV.

He said to pray without ceasing. He said to do a lot of things that are for our benefit if we do them.

The devil goes forth to deceive the whole world, but we as Christians need not be deceived. God is not mocked. The devil will get his rewards in the proper time.

We are given the ability to set the captive free, and the lie that the devil is somehow so big is the first "captivity lie" that we need to be free from.

Jesus Christ made an open show of him. Satan is defeated.

This won't work as long as you think it's ok to have a television to turn on.

How deep do you want to go with this?

And as long as we Christians keep giving satan power, he'll have that power to use........ The Bible tells us satan IS DEFEATED. But by our words we can take Christ's power and speak it into the kingdom of satan. STOP IT!!!

An interesting subject but really quite simple. Leonard is right the Bible says satan is defeated. It is we the people that give him power back. Emotions are a very good example of that. I would have to say fear and a lack of confidence is an open invite fo satan. Satan will use many vehicles in this world to get at us. Tv movies music etc and many more our his tools he uses. Jesus gives us the rules and the words to live by and we have to trust 100 % in the word. If we don't trust 100 % in God we are leaving an open door for negative feelings negative actions in our lives etc.. Its through this door that satan enters and corrupts our lives. Its hard to don't get me wrong as none of us are perfect! But Focus, Faith and Trust in God is essential to sucess in our Lives. I always keep satan at bay the best I can. I always keep it foremost in my mind and heart that he has no power and I voice that to myself constantly. I always like to keep satan under my foot instead of him having his foot on me.The only way satan can influence our lives is if we let him. So plain and simple don't give him the power over you. Focus on God constantly. We have to make a mental note to do this frequently everyday. Stay in Gods word and always pray for protection from those dark spirits that are always there waiting for us during our weak times.

In His Peace, Michael

Saint's,

Call me Phinehas if you wish?

I do not like when I see three threads in one forum that are devoted to my enemy. I give no quarter to him. I am not born of the spirit of fear nor intimidation. I am born of the Spirit of God. A son of the most High by the Righteous Blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

This enemy is already defeated. I will now take the focus off of him and let us all place it back on Christ. This ends now.

I appreciate the answers of the Saint's of God, also the questions. Please remember that this is a site devoted to the Lord. Let us shift our focus on Him and be mindful that the battle is already won.

Peace,

Dave

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
