That sounds like the Amish There are many modern Christian communities around the world. I am interested to hear this. can you give a few examples? I have not look into this but I always thought that they were all unmarried men with no wives or chilldren. Matthew mark and Luke all three speak of Jesus healing Peter's mother-in-law. Don't know of kids but he had to have a wife. also in one of the letters to the Corinthians Paul talks of having the right to bring along a christen wife as did the other apostles.
