Some of many discriptions. Usually with the Nation of Israel God used Captivity as a punishment for being ungodly, for falling back out of His Will, hardened, disobedient. In like manner, is it possible that God will use this Captivity as a punishment for the (tribulation saints - fence sitters). This is the sad part. You have no control to where you or your family are relocated to. You have no control on who will purchase you. Young boys could be sent into a gay community and be abused. Young girls will be forced into prostitution. Wives are raped and dragged off. And you the leader of the family can do nothing. In this day and age this is what will happen to those in good health. What happens to those who are not worthy of being sent into Captivity. Be Beheaded. These are two real nice options. And as Paul says: Encourage each other with these words!!!! I know this is a hard subject to deliver, but those are the facts. That is why many of us are joyous in knowing that we go Pre-Trib; Thus we encourage each other with the words of Paul in 1 Thes 4:13-18. In Christ Montana Marv Hi Mountain Marv: I would just like to elaborate more on who the "elect" are from scripture context: The "elect" of God is always used to refer to "Christians" or "church" or "saints" or "chosen" in NT Christianity in scripture context. See Romans 8:33, Romans 16:12, 2 Timothy 2:10, Titis 1:1, 1 Peter 1:2, 2:9, 5:13, James 2:5, 1 Corinth. 1:27 , Ephesians 1:4, Revelation 17:14, Acts 15:22; Acts 15:25 These words are all interchangeable and are one in the same if you refer to each scripture text I have listed.
