Your bible references do not say what you are claiming.

THAT SATAN CAN PUT THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND, WHICH REQUIRES A oops certain level, at least, of "mind-reading."

Plus, you've merely copied and pasted something that you like, but doesn't speak the whole truth.

Well, LWood is kind of out there, but if you wanna dispute with him Scripturally, you better pack a lunch, lol. His 'Needs' is the most spiritually insightful Christian Manifesto I have ever seen from a Western Christian, bar none. His grasp of marriage, satan, hands, colors, Scriptural Astronomy, fingerprints...yikes, I could go on, are all inspired. The best pastor you never heard of. Whole truth? Who has that? Let the Spirit be your guide, amen!

Satan can implant thoughts and impressions that will bring about behaviour that he is looking for. He will take control of anyone who allows him, but he cannot read anyone's mind unless a depraved person gives over control. That is not the same thing!

I admit that I actually lean your way here; but it should be considered, at least, that

"During supper, athe devil having already put into the heart of bJudas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him..."

"“Ananias, why has aSatan filled your heart to lie bto the Holy Spirit and tockeep back some of the price of the land?"

these were not satanists; they were men who assumed control inappropriately.

(as an aside, Judas' 'betrayal' assumes a diff light when it is understood that he surely

never expected Christ to go meekly, like a lamb, to slaughter; but he is excoriated nonetheless,

for the same crime as Moses.)

Amen; that is the point.

Satan's Attack on Believers

Satan still attacks believers just as he did in the Garden.

Just as Satan completely deceived Eve by his craftiness, he is waiting in the wings to confuse the thoughts of believers and lead them away from Christ.  The thinking of Christians should be characterized by "noble simplicity and purity toward Christ."  "Noble simplicity" is the Greek aJplovth" (haplotes), for the noble simplicity characteristic of heroes.  "Purity" is the Greek aJgnovth" (hagnotes), for purity or the quality of being holy or pure.  "Toward Christ" refers to strategic alignment with Christ.2 Corinthians 11:3 Satan's Attack on Believers

But I am afraid, lest as the serpent completely deceived Eve by his craftiness, your thoughts should be led astray from noble simplicity and purity toward Christ.

Satan is slicker than the imagination.  Not only can he put thoughts in the mind and feelings in the heart, he influences the underlying assumptions and presumptions that produce the thoughts.  He has established his Cosmic System to influence, tempt, deceive, and outwit people to control the world (Eph 2:26:12Jas 4:41 Jn 2:15-17).  As Beelzebub, he is like the unseen spider that catches flies in his web.  People are the flies, and they don't stand a chance against Satan.

Satan as Beelzebub rules the demons (2 Ki 1:2Matt 10:2512:24Mk 3:22Lk 11:15).  He sends his demons to maintain his power and control over the world.  And he sends demons to attack Christians (2 Cor 12:7).  Satan rules nations and the military establishment through the Evil King (Josh 12:7-24Rev 16:13-14).  And he rules commerce and the civilian sector through the Prostitute of Babylon (Rev 18:2-3) and lures men with the love of money (Acts 5:31 Tim 6:10).

Satan is a super creature.  He moves faster than light, thinks at gigahertz rates, and is the most brilliant, sophisticated, and beautiful created being apart from the humanity of Christ.  Satan can start a rebellion in the blink of an eye, and convince a person to murder in an instant.  He runs all the governments of the world, the economy, educational institutions, entertainment and news media, and most churches.

Satan hides in plain sight.  Only the masters of Bible Doctrine, the most advanced believers, will ever have a clue of his activities.  The eyes do not behold him.  He is the spiritual force behind the move.  He is not the thing that is seen, but the thing that is not seen.  No man or angel is a match for him, and only by the Grace of God are they protected from him...

Satan is also actively engaged in medicine.  He not only can cause most illnesses, but he can also heal them.  Of course, this must be done with God's permission, since God punishes people with sickness.  Satan is all too ready to offer medicinal remedies to those who are under Divine punishment.  He rules health care and fosters the fears and misconceptions of doctors and patients who are spiritually inept.

What you have quoted contains some error. God doesn't punish anyone. He certainly never sends illness. That is a lie of Satan that your writer pal is spreading, and so is the statement that Satan heals.

As for "No...angel is a match for him"---that is also a lie! God's holy angels are more than a match for him! We can call down warrior angels to stand guard or to strike demons down---it's no problem for them! He certainly has no power over the sons and daughters of God who know who they are in Christ and walk in His authority.

Well, I disagree, and so does Scripture. See the "sin unto death," or investigate Paul's "thorn."  While it might be better put that God "allows" satan access to these unbelievers, because of their sin, this is essentially a semantics argument, and I am not interested.

That is a lie of Satan that your writer pal is spreading, and so is the statement that Satan heals.

The only lie of satan that I gather is that he is no match for you, a believer; and I don't know Larry Wood--I just did a Scripture search for satan to get that...but BAM, let the spirit be your guide here.

I know for a fact that satan is all the way in to allopathic medicine; treating a symptom with a prescription,

and also leaching all the nutrition from your--that is your--food supply; at least if you are buying what Safeway is selling for food.

Sin = death is the same to me as "God punishes people for sin."

As for "No...angel is a match for him"---that is also a lie! God's holy angels are more than a match for him! Ok, well if you meet any of those, let me know; I agree. But Scripture illustrates for me that even the strongest angels' most forceful rebuke of satan is the Lord rebuke you,"

and Scripture also tells us that those Christians you speak of, who imagine that they are all bullet-proof, might in fact be just one of the many deceived; many.

I write so that people may not be deceived. satan is your mortal enemy, and seeks ways to kill you, spiritually, that are never frontal attacks.

Now if you have some Scripture to reinforce your claims, I would be happy to consider them; but you do not, and you will not, wadr;

you are espousing your beliefs, your opinions--what some guy convinced you of when you were little, that you now will not be swayed from,

despite any evidence to the contrary. Why do you suppose that God must hedge you about with a fence, if your claims are true?

But I will wait for your Scriptures, as I would prefer to agree with you, on the truth--whatever that may be--and not speculation,

which I doubt very much that Larry Wood bothers with. I had to back up like 3 times yesterday; trust me, I will have no problem agreeing with you, at Scripture.

Wadr, tell all of this to Job? but see that I get you; ok, satan is the one tasked with sending the sickness, through the hole

sin creates in God's hedge, if you will. Oh, but Job didn't sin, hmm.

What do you mean, "If you meet any of those"? I know hundreds of Spirit-filled people! If you don't, seriously consider why not. You seem to lack the understanding of and the application of the spiritual armour we are told to put on. We have everything we need to defeat the enemy! Why, if you are a Christian, do you stoop to undermine the truth of that? Stop sowing deception, grasp the truth, and get running with it, sir.

Most Christians are quite aware who their real enemy is. When we walk in obedience to the word, we are not strangers to his attempts to deceive and attack. However, many are as deceived as you seem to be, thinking that he is mightier than he really is.

The scriptures I depend on for truth this is everywhere, and particularly in the passage in Galatians teaching us about our spiritual armour. Most importantly, Jesus gives us HIS AUTHORITY. He dwells in us, so we have His authority at our fingertips. So many Christians do not avail themselves of it.

I believe the same, for the most part; I really don't think we're that far apart...

but Scripture tells me that most Christians will be deceived, and I just don't want to be one!

I'd rather examine something that might be a little uncomfortable than have my head in the sand.

Many ARE being deceived now. That isn't MOST. I give Holy Spirit far more credit than you seem to.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
