How can you know you were in the right place and not tricked by Satan.

Since you dismiss the scriptures you have nothing to test it against except your own personal opinions.

 

 

It was over a month that the Lord Jesus taught us about Satan and his devil and on how we can determine how they operate in this world. The Lord even gave us authority for one week to cast out demons in His names and, indeed it happened,  but after that, we are told to do what is the normal way of dealing with the devil - to call on to the Lord and ask Him to drive the devil out. Kindly come to think a million times of what nature and make are you going to test the Lord God and His utterances to those whom God is inter-acting today? Is there anything better and higher than God himself?

1. there is nothing God has done in my life that I have written down. I do not really operate that way, I am not really a "write things down". but i do share them face to face

Thats a pretty condemning statement. At no point did jdavis say his faith is confined to a book. He merely stated that he didnt write anything down. Nowhere is it written that one must write down a special thing God states in order to be saved. One is saved by faith, not by writing down a special revelation.

Ghosts floating around do not exist, and aliens certainly do not exist. Using our imaginations for the wrong reasons can be, not good.

 

And your basis for saying the above is what?

 

 

Because the Word of God would of mentioned this. Scripture clearly states that after we die, our bodies will rest and our spirits will either go to heaven or hell. Also, nowhere in scripture does it mention aliens.

How do you know it's Jesus? What if whoever is talking to you (Jesus or perhaps someone else?) tells you something that is contrary to Scripture? How do you know if it is the enemies of God disguised as angels of light or the voice of Jesus?

Jesus has many ways of proving Himself that He is the Almighty and it is beyond the capacity of men to comprehend it unless they were there when the Lord proved Himself of His Lordship over all. What do you think of any specific God's work that the devil cannot do in any way he can?

My statement is based on our long exchanges of posts and it is obvious that the guy knows God through the bible thus my "your faith is confined to a book" for the bible is a book.

You are close, all that I know of God I have tested against the Written Word He has given us.

Any work that God can do but the devil cannot do, can you name any? let us settle this one first.

Trusting God himself, alive and real is totally different than trusting God's written Word or the bible for the latter is not the Lord God.
