In this case "the devil you know" being Assad and "the devil you don't know" being Al Quada and the Muslim Brotherhood (who are most likely the best candidates for taking the reigns of Syria if/when Assad is gone).

two years ago obama said Assad had to go and he's been working with the MB to get it accomplished.....   when it all does come out my guess this all has a lot to do with Benghazi also....    the powers here sure didn't want what the CIA was doing in Benghazi to get out.

 

 

I agree, OO. In Benghazi, with CIA help,  weapons were being smuggled in by islamists, MB, alQaeda to help the rebels in Syria in which Obama and Hillary were a part of. Now, weapons have been taken in from Jordan with 50 rebel troops with CIA help!  It's all out in the open now!

The first cell of Syrian rebels trained and armed by the CIA is making its way to the battlefield, President Barack Obama has reportedly told senators.

 

 

Mr Obama said that a 50-man cell, believed to have been trained by US special forces in Jordan, was making its way across the border into Syria, according to the New York Times.

 

The deployment of the rebel unit seems to be the first tangible measure of support since Mr Obama announced in June that the US would begin providing the opposition with small arms.

Russia has called on Turkey to share its findings in the case of Syrian rebels who were seized on the Turkish-Syrian border with a 2kg cylinder full of nerve gas sarin.

 

“We are still waiting on a comprehensive report from our Turkish colleagues,” he added, citing the incident when a gang of terrorists carrying a canister with nerve gas sarin was arrested inside the Turkish territory about two weeks ago.
