The blood of the prophets

Was just looking at the blood of the prophets as spelled out in these, I thought maybe it would be helpful to look at this from various angles, as I still am, and just wanted to post these.

Shows pointers in them

Luke 11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

Luke 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

And yet Jerusalem is called the great city even as mystery Babylon is called "that great city" (even as its spiritually called) Sodom and Egypt (as shown below)

Rev 11:8  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

1Thes 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men

Whereas Jesus said

Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Okay, so children of those who killed the former prophets, and now Jesus is going to (again) send unto them more prophets, and heres what they will do

Mat 23:32 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Mat 23:33 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Okay, so who is this then?

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Of those they slew between the temple and the altar

Mat 23:34 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Mat 23:35 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Now souls under the altar shown here

Rev 6:10 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

They are crying to avenge their blood

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

These are told to hold on a little season, because something else needs to come to pass

Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Okay, so ^these others^ need also to be killed as had to be fulfilled, because Jesus said to them

Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Whereas here, we see that great city is made desolate

Rev 18:19 Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Now, its time for those under the altar who said "How long O Lord, until you avenge our blood to rejoice (inclusive of the apostles here)

Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Whereas Paul said,

1 Cr 4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

And of these he said,

1Thes 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

Pardon me for saying this because it is NOT directed at you; it is an observation I'm making about many people, and it's my intent to help those who follow this path of thinking:

It always amazes me when well-meaning Christians forget the dimension of TIME!

First of all, back-tracking a little bit, let's get this out of the way: Luke 13:33 says this in various versions:

Luke 13:33

33 In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day — for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!

NIV

Luke 13:33-34

33 "Nevertheless I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.

NASU

Luke 13:33

33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

KJV

Luke 13:33

33 Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.

NKJV

Luke 13:33

33 Nevertheless, I must keep travelling today, tomorrow and the next day; because it is unthinkable that a prophet should die anywhere but in Yerushalayim.

CJB

Luke 13:33

33 Yes, today, tomorrow, and the next day! For it wouldn't do for a prophet of God to be killed except in Jerusalem!

TLB

The Greek says,...

To Kata Loukan Hagion Euaggelion 13:33

33 Pleen dei me seemeron kai aurion kai tee echomenee poreuesthai, hoti ouk endechetai profeeteen apolesthai exoo Ierousaleem.

The Greek New Testament (UBS)

33 Pleen = 33 All the same

dei = must

me = I

seemeron = today

kai = and

aurion = tomorrow

kai = and

tee = the

echomenee = following-(one)

poreuesthai, = I-goad-myself,

hoti = because

ouk = not

endechetai = it-is-possible

profeeteen = a-prophet

apolesthai = perishes

exoo = outside-of

Ierousaleem. = Jerusalem.

33 All the same must I today and tomorrow and the following-(one) I-goad-myself, because not it-is-possible a-prophet perishes outside-of Jerusalem.

33 All the same, I must goad myself today, tomorrow, and the following (day), because it is not possible a prophet perishes outside of Jerusalem.

So, Yeshua` (Jesus) was not saying that it would be impossible for Him to "perish out" of Jerusalem or die from within Jerusalem (as some would interpret the KJV and NKJV to say), but that it would be highly unlikely for a prophet to die OUTSIDE OF Jerusalem. He was saying just the OPPOSITE of the first assumption!

Secondly, Yeshua` in Matthew 23 is simply saying that that CURRENT generation with which He had to deal would be responsible for the deaths of all the prophets from the beginning until THAT PRESENT TIME. Yeshua` is not talking about any prophets from that point in time to our present time. This is what I meant by forgetting the dimension of time! Don't form "universalisms" out of particulars! Just because a thing was true for a particular time period in the past does NOT mean that it is always true for all time periods, past, present, and future! There were and will be prophets after those who were present in Yeshua`s lifetime! For instance, the disciples had many who possessed the gift of prophecy after the diaspora, and they ended up scattered among the nations with this gift of prophecy. Therefore, anything that happened to them ELSEWHERE in the world would NOT fall upon the shoulders of those in Jerusalem! They were NOT directly responsible for the deaths of any of these latter prophets. On the other hand, any of them who pursued them with the intent of killing them WOULD reap some or all of the guilt for the deaths of those prophets they pursued.

Therefore, the information in Revelation 18 is not necessarily related to these prophets.

Revelation 11:8 is definitely talking about Jerusalem; however, Revelation 18 is definitely talking about Bavel (Babylon) in the future and is NOT talking about Jerusalem.

Thirdly, ANY city can be called a "great" city if it is big enough. All "great" (Greek: megalee from megas) means is "LARGE" or "HUGE." It does NOT mean that it is one of a kind or unique in some way! New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris would all qualify.

Hi Retrobyter, yeah, I cant tell what you are trying to point out to be honest with you. I also dont know too much of what others say myself so cant say much on that. Actually just coming into it from one angle here and always go forward by coming into a thing from various before I am convinced of anything.

These seem to mesh in Jesus Christ as prophesied in Isaiah (as shown in two places) then pulled out through a parable showing so much

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD  is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Shown in Luke 4:18 &21) as fulfilled***

So Jesus stops there in Luke, but Isaiah continues...

Isaiah 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Jesus closes" the book" of Isaiah cutting that saying short in Luke 4:21 When he said, "this saying was fulfilled in their ears" he continues the proclamation of Isaiah 61:2 picking it up here in Luke 21:22

Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance
, that all things*** which are written may be fulfilled***.

At least it shows both of the actual proclamations were fulfilled in Jesus.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Acts 3:14 But ye denied
the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

Acts 3:15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Whereas it mentions the same here this way

Acts 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

And of the Jews...

1Thes 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

Again...As shown in this parable

Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

This verse is a couple of verses prior to the one speaking of the days of vengeance (Jesus was to proclaim per Isaiah above) springboarding off the same (again)

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Luke 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be** fulfilled**

Im still looking at this, and to see if I can at least add some further relevance, but from this angle. I think its good to have various points of reference wherever you can make those.

Okay, so who is this then
?

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Of those they slew between the temple and the altar

This is speaking of mystery Babylon the great the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth Revelation 17:5 as the great city of Babylon is being referred to a woman (her).   Because all of the nations of the earth will come under the domionion of the Anti-christ and will commit whoredoms speaking of worshipping the Anti-christ being deceived and taking his mark as all the nations of the earth will be decieved by him.   It will be the kingdom of the Anti-Christ during the end-time events as all the other kings or leaders will eventually swallow each other up and all will yield their powers over to the Anti-Christ being seduced by him.  When the Anti-Christ finally becomes the ruler over the nations of the earth he will then cause the people in the earth to take his mark and to worship him.  Just as in the book of Daniel as the king of Babylon had had a dream of an image of a man.  Daniel gave the interpretation of the dream to the king as God had shown to the king what he was going to do in the earth.  As the image of the man the pieces of the man's body represented various nations and what was going to happen.  Well the king of Babylon who then was the world ruler as all the nations of the earth at that time were under Babylon.  He went and made a literal physical image of the man (an idol) and errecte it or put it up and commanded (made it the Law) that when the people in the nations of Babylon heard the music playing they were to stop what they were doing and fall down and worship the idol and if they did not fall down and worship the image of the man then they would be killed thrown into the fiery furnace.  Well we know shadrach, meshach and abindigo refused to fall down and worship and said they would not bow down and worship the image and they had faith that God would deliver them from the fiery furnace.  They did not bow down and was thrown into the fire but God delivered out of the fire without even the smell of smoke being on them.

In the end times all those who refuse to take the mark of the beast and worship him under the rule of the antichrist (Revelation 17:6-24) will be martyred those who were beheaded for their refusal to worship and take the mark of the beast as they will not be able to buy or sell.  It is these martyred saints blood that will be avenged.  As judgment will come upon the kingdom of the Antichrist and Babylon will be destroyed and brought down to it's knees.  Just as the king of Babylon in the prophet Daniel's time had conquered all the nations of the earth and they were under his domionion as the nation of Babylon was dominant world power.  But just as judgment was fortold and warnings were given about judgment coming upon Babylon then it came and Babylon was destroyed and the Jews (God's people) was restored.  So shall it be in the end times the antichrist and his kingdom will be brought down quickly as Christ will come and overthrow the antichrist and set up his kingdom for a 1000 years of peace.

Jeremiah 50:1-51:64

Daniel 5:1-31 (Just as the king of Babylon King Bel (Belshazzar) rule came to and end after he had taken the golden and silver vessels that his father Nebuchadnezzer had taken out of the temple of the house of God in Jerusalem when he took the children of God into babylonian captivity.  King Belshazzar of Babylon he took the holy utensils used in the temple and he his princes, his wives and his concubines all drank wine out of them.  They descrated the holy vessels set apart unto God's use in the temple by drinking wine from them praising their idols gods they had made from gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, and of stone.

And it was within an hours time a finger from a man's hand came in where the king was and wrote MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN on the wall.  The king went from drinking his wine and praises his idol gods to a trouble countenance because of the writing on the wall.  The king sought ought Daniel the prophet to come and interpret what the writing on the wall meant.  Daniel told him that the words meant that God had numbered his kingdom and it was coming to an end.  That he had been weighed in the balance and was found wanting and Babylon would be brought down and be divided up and given over to the rule of the Medes and Persians.  It was in that same night King Bel was slain and killed and Darius a Median took the kingdom and Daniel prospered under the reigns of both Darius and Cyrus the Persian.

It will also be with the Antichrist as the writing on the wall already has been written concerning his fate.  When the Antichrist desecrates the temple by offerring up the sacrifice of oblation in the temple God will overthrow within the hour mystery babylon the kingdom of the antichrist his rule will come to an end judgment will com and he will be destroyed at the time appointed.  The world government of the antichrist will crumble and the government of God will be set up on earth for a 1000 years of peace and his government shall be no end he shall rule and reign for evermore.   I don't know if I am making any sense a trying to get you to see that the scriptures you've brought up is speaking of all the saints whose lives were taken under the dominion and rule of the antichrist his kingdom being referred to as being a woman sitting on the waters of the sea as all the nations of the earth have given all their power over to him and he begins to cause all the people of the earth to worship the beast and take his mark or they will be killed, they will not be able to buy and sell if they do not worship him and come up under his dominion taking his mark.  The blood of the saints is being referred to as wine.

Mat 23:34 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

This is speaking of the people who are alive on the earth during the days of the seven year tribulation period.  Those people will have to go through the end time events that are foretold to us in the OT prophets and by John the prophet in the book of Revelation.  They will see and experience the rule of the Anti-christ and the judgments that shall come on the earth.

Mat 23:35 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

The history of Israel as a nation would slip back into idolatry and God time and time again would send his prophets to warn them to return and repent but instead they would stop up their ears and become stiffnecked and not turn to God.  Many of the prophets were put to death and killed as a result of speaking the words of God to them to return and repent but they wouldn't listen.  They didn't even listen to Jesus as he went to his own and his own (Jews) recieved him not they didn't accept Jesus as the Son of God sent from heaven and put him to death on the cross.  Jeremiah known as the weeping prophet prophesied and warned of coming destruction and judgment coming on Jerusalem and they treated him badly as once they lowered him down into a pit of dung.  But there was not one that listened to the warnings given by God and Babylon seized the city and burned it and took the things out of the temple and God's people was marched off into Babylonian captivity until Babylon was brought down and the small remnant from the tribe of Benjamin and Judah and restored the temple and rebuilt the wall around the city.

Now souls under the altar shown here
Rev 6:10 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held

  They are crying to avenge their blood

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

This is speaking of the martyr's who are killed in the earth (under the alter) during the seven year tribulation period for the testimony.  As their blood cries out like the blood of Abel from the ground when Cain murdered him.  And as God heard the cry from Abel's blood he two will hear the cries of those whose lives were taken from them during the seven year tribulation period by the antichrist, the beast and the false prohet.  And God will take vengenance and avenge their blood.

These are told to hold on a little season, because something else needs to come to pass

Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilledOkay, so ^these others^ need also to be killed as had to be fulfilled, because Jesus said to them

This is speaking of the 144,ooo Jews who have kept themselves pure during the tribulation period they are being assured they will be taken out and delivered by God but they have to wait for a time period until other of God's servants would be killed in whatever state they were in and whenever this set time period is over then the 144,000 Jews from the tribes of Israel would be taken out of the world unto God in heaven.  But it was told them that certain things has to transpire and be finished before that set time and they were to have patience.

Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

This is referring back to the scriptures in Matthew 21:33-45 in the parable of the husbandman.  The Jews were God's chosen people all throughout their history they would rebell against God and go back into idol worship (1 Corinthians 10).  God sent prophets to call them back to God and warned of the consequences and judgment upon them if they did not.  God raised up judges to judge and deliver them when they fell into idolatry.  But the religious leaders would not listen to them and put many of them to death for being God's spokeman as they did to Zacharias the prophet as they killed him between the porch and the altar (Matthew 23:34-35;  Revelation 18:24; Hebrews 11).  But then God sent his only begotten Son into the world the heir of God.  And the Jewish leaders did not want to listen to Jesus they plotted against Him falsely accused him and beat him with a cat of nine tails. pierced his side and put him to death on the cross as he went to his own (the Jewish people) but they would not receive him as the Messiah and put him to death.  And because of their hardness and blindness toward Jesus and who He really was the King od the Jews salvation went unto the Gentiles as the whole earth would be filled with the glory of God.

Whereas here, we see that great city is made desolate                                                                                                                                                                                Rev 18:19 Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

This is speaking again of mystery Babylon the great whore who sitteth upon the waters (sea) the kingdom or seat of the antichrist which will be destroyed by Christ.  When he desecrated the temple his kingdom will crumble within one hour.

And again...

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Was just looking at these

God is coming and is going to avenge the blood of the righteous servants of God all throughout the ages that have been killed and will be killed for the word of their testimony. Going all the way back to Abel who was righteous and his brother Cain murdered him because his own works were evil and Abel's sacrifice was accepted by God all the saints who have been slain murdered from the foundation of the earth shall be avenged in and during the set time during the tribulation period as God will pour out on the earth from the cup of his winepress pouring his wrath out as his time of judgment will come upon this world. (Revelation 16:4-6;  Revelation 14:9-10; Psalms 75:8; Isaiah 51:17; Jeremiah 25:15; Revelation 18:6; Rev 16:19; 20:10; 19:20).

The time of Jacob's trouble will be is a horrific time period in the earth and should not be scoffed and mocked.

Hey thanks so much openly curious. And sorry, I didn't mean in adding a question mark there to be really asking for (or rather needing explanation) of that key place but rather to point to the context for the answer, and so to run off that in another study. I do that in my own studying, like settting down a marker, and so I can run it that way.

I didn't mean to give off the impression I needed someone to splice that all up and answer all of that, its usually just the way I share.

I was also hoping that Ih8s8n would pop in here but he hit that Shoebat thread.

But he's told me he is going to be busy the next couple of weeks.

Was just looking at the blood of the prophets as spelled out in these, I thought maybe it would be helpful to look at this from various angles, as I still am, and just wanted to post these.

Shows pointers in them

Luke 11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

Mat 23:34 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

I believe "this generation" is refering to the generation of the firstborn, which also is flesh.

Galatians 4:22-23

King James Version (KJV)

22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

2 seeds, 2 Jerusalems, 2 generations (first Adam....last Adam)

Generation of Adam.... (corruptable seed)

Generation of Jesus Christ. (incorruptable seed)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
