Umm . . . guys -

I just checked woulhe's profile. He's only 9 years old!

I'm not sure why he was asking if any of us like bunnies, but maybe we should be a little more gracious to him. :emot-hug:

One of the great pleasures of my life has always been rabbit hunting with a single shot .22 rifle, and eating the little critters.

Then three years ago, I saw a rabbit gooshed in the road, and just off the shoulder, the little tiny babies had dug themselves out of the hole (obviously they were still nursing, and mama hadn't come back, so they were at death's door).  I picked up the little dears and took them home, feeding them for about 10 days (rabbits don't nurse long) with a little 'kitten bottle' I bought from the vet with some kitten formula, and special vitamins.

When they didn't want the milk anymore, and were eating on their own, I let them go back into the wild, and I've got so say, that ruined rabbit hunting for me!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

My hunting fell to the deer that ate with my unckel's dairy cows. When about 17after spending many summers watching them eat with his cows I decided to get my first deer, I went out to one of the remoter fields he used to grow feed in and spent the day trying to kill one of several 8 to 16 point bucks........ I simply could not pull the trigger on that gun that day. So I hung up my gun and took down the binoculars and have been hunting with them or a camera ever since.

BTW wouldhe... yes I do like fuzzy 4 legged bunnies with long floppy ears. They are smart and clean and make wonderful pets. They can even be house broken to use a litterbox or paper and they like to cuddle. My wife perferrs cats and that is what we have, but bunnies would be a good second choice.... much better than dogs.

I love bunnies. I had a bunny named Caramel for years. He died at about 12 years old. I'm glad my brother Leonard took those three baby bunnies home and nursed them. Leonard, your a closet marshmallow! As for the other bunnies that hang out with Hugh Heffner I couldn't say.

I don't like rabbits. They manage to find their way underneath the hood of cars and eat your wiring!
