I posted a thread entitled soulwinning experiences earlier tonight and not a single response has been posted yet. Just makes me wonder? Where are the labourers Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; If we had some soulwinners here who had a passion to see the lost come to Christ then they would have posted where are those that are soulwinners?

You're too eager...give folks time. Many of us are in bed....my hubby is. I'm going after this.

I was a foreign missionary in a Muslim country *Indonesia and was busy running a street mission for the homeless in the midwest at one point.

Today, I'm disabled but despite my disability, this has become my outreach.

Don't forget, financial support of missions, orphanages, outreaches, et al are also forms of reaching the lost and hurting.

And don't forget, we're not all a "BIG TOE" in the Body of Christ....some are out there in the trenches preaching, some are raising funds to support those in the trenches, some of us are sewing clothes for poor children in other countries, and some of us are teachers of the young as well as the old.

Each part is valuable. ....and it's not enough to "win" a soul...like a trophy...but to nourish and care for it. That takes TIME and commitment.

eager beaver thats me! Cats I get the feeling that we dont have that many who witness in here and that put so many other things before that. I can be over zealous sometimes and have to watch my self in that area and make sure the Lord is leading, I have such a desire to see people come to Christ and believe it is the great lack of the Church today. thanks

All kinds of people come to a message board, all for different reasons. All have different interests. It's not fair to insinuate that they don't have a passion for the lost simply because they don't answer a post.

I get my fill of learning and Bible studies and talk of witnessing and such in personal quiet time, at church, at Bible study, and one-on-one with Christian friends. I'm not interested in talking about it even more on a message board. I'm more interested in current events, politics and daily life. Not to say I never answer those posts, but not usually. That is merely my personal preference and what I want out of a message board. There are many like me.

And, like Cat said, give it time. I've seen topics sit for two days and then all of a sudden go for pages. Or maybe it won't. Don't take it personally.

Hey, I've been a Christian so long that everybody I know is either saved, or avoiding me! I don't have that many opportunities to witness at length to people anymore, so I live a life that may lead them to ask the reasons for my joy.

Mostly I invest myself in YOUNG CHRISTIANS; that is where the growth of the Church is.

Stick around for awhile...I've been here since 2002 and I definitely feel the Spirit of God moving .....we certainly are opposed and attacked by the enemy enough.
