And a prayer to help make the situation better won't kill you either, so I hope you can show a little kindness...

Welcome to Worthy Chichan

I am sure you meant this in a light-hearted way. Sometimes text can be misinterpreted, perhaps if  you said ...(a little 'more' kindness) it might have sounded better., Sister Kwik's advice is excellent, Lust is a fruit of the flesh! if you are seeking joy of heart,  then seek first the Kingdom of God, He is Our Father, we are to serve Him NOT the flesh,  if you want Gods direction and not the direction your flesh is leading, then you need to draw close to Him. Otherwise how are you to know what you are going out to possess? if you are serving the flesh master, then that is what is giving you direction and telling you to go out and possess something that might only lead you further from the Will of God..  Develop a close relationship with God first, forsake the desires of the flesh. and all else will be added,  exchanging glances in a house of worship, honestly,,, maybe just wait till church is over at least. You might find routine  helpful.  wake up say a prayer, maybe say the Lords prayer and whatever else is on your heart,  It might help to read from the bible before  even drinking coffee (feed the spirit first, keep the flesh in subjection)..try to always have God in your thoughts, and always be giving thanks for all His Blessings, and when you have thoughts that you feel are leading you astray, resist them and start praising our Father even more. Last thing before bed talk to God again..After a while you will be able to approach God more confidently.  When the desires of the flesh are no longer your master then you will experience joy. Lust will be replaced by Love for others.

God Bless

Thank You Snow, I'm confused though, as I've been trying to communicate that it is NOT the flesh that's calling me. Simply something that I've never experienced before. I feel a little disappointed because it seems that people aren't reading what I'm writing and simply reading other's responses to me. I really don't think a "glance" is flirting, inappropriate, or shameful the way you're making it seem. If that's the case I suppose by your logic I should walk around the world with my head down trying to ignore everyone, when I glance at someone else I'm simply looking I'm not thinking disgusting or shameful things, just looking. It's the same thing with her, she isn't winking, or smiling, or doing things with her tongue (and neither am I). I think from the get go you just had my problem pinned as something else as you've clearly written so much about "lust ot the flesh" when in plain words I'm talking about something else. I'm starting to feel foolish seeking council here as it seems people are more interested in exercising their pastor skills than trying to contribute some real guidance. I don't mind the brutal truth, but when you begin talking about things that don't even apply to situation it makes me think you either just don't know or just don't care. This isn't sarcasm.....I want you to know I sincerely prayed for you misguided people.

Blessings Chichan

   That's great,,,,we can all use prayers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,as far as being "misguided" well,,,,thats a matter of opinion,but whatever.............I won't entertain such a judgement

I did want to respond to your suggestion that it would not kill me to pray for you or to show kindness,,,,,,,Dear one,if I did not care about you then I would not have responded to your OP in the sincere hopes of what I truly believe is Gods Truth,,,,,,if the shoe fits, wear it & if not ,then no offense should be taken................it is simply Gods Truth about the struggle each one of us has between our flesh & our spirit,if you receive nothing from what is put before you then perhaps it is not for you but it certainly is for someone,,,,,,,,,,,,in all things give God Glory, take what is good & leave the rest

Do you honestly know what I pray? What makes you think I have not or do not pray for you ,,,,,,because I do not announce it before men? That's okay,I understand you didn't like my answer  but don't think for one minute that Christ in me does not love you or that anyone here does not pray for you with all their hearts.................Go in Peace & God Bless you

                                                                                                     With love-in Christ,Kwik

Amen Snow,,,,I stand in one accord with you in Jesus Name

Welcome to worthy my friend! You seem to be focused on another human being more than you are on Jesus which is completely normal for many people in the church. The beautiful thing about it is that you are aware of yourself doing it! Most of the time people will not even admit that they are more focused on another human being more than God. My friend if I could offer you any advice it would be to ask yourself questions. Do you feel a urgent desire to have children and a wife? If so why do you think that is? Do you believe you will be fulfilled from these things? Do you think this woman will satisfy you in ways to be honest God cannot? If I could offer you one more thing it would be to question why you're in the church? you mentioned you were tired of worldly women. Therefore, could it be that you did not seek God to learn how to love 1 yourself and 2. Jesus 3. love humanity but instead you started going to church for fleshly reasons. Could I be right?

welcome and God bless you. You came to the right place. Thank you for sharing all that with us.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
