Science is dead. Science will always have no power to describe the physical universe. Here's a very brief why.

 

In his "End Of Physics" lecture (2010), physicist Stephen Hawking declared that because of the very eminent mathematician Kurt Gödel's "Incompleteness Theorem", physics (and science) can never  understand the laws that govern our universe.

 

Professor Kurt Gödel's discovery is considered the most important discovery in mathematics.

Albert Einstein, who taught at the same college, said he was in absolute awe of Gödel's intelligence. It was Einstein who helped Dr.Godel attain his U.S. citizenship.

 

The renowned physicists Roger Penrose and Freeman Dyson, and others, have also stated that because of the Gödel's  theorem science can never comprehend the universe.(By the way physicist Sean Carroll showed in 2013, that there probably is no "Multiverse" - but is it of importance? Since science is just a bunch of ever-changing-fallible-peer-reviewed opinions that can never be fact, let alone Truth.

 

And we can prove this because of Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem.

 

Why do you think the truly great scientists/mathematicians such as Michael Faraday, Leonhard Euler, Bernhard Riemann, and many others, ( whose science and mathematics scientists of today use for their theories) believed Jesus of Nazareth was the Truth.

They knew science was always going to be extremely limited in its ability to describe and understand, what Jesus Christ  and the his Father, created.

 

Now we can emphatically and objectively show - thanks to Gödel - science will always be utterly powerless and wrong in comprehending, and explaining the physical universe.

An Incredible Discovery For Christians! Actual Image of King HEROD Agrippa.

 

Numismatics is the study of coins. One of the best British Roman historians showed how we can use Roman Provincial Coins (RPC) to understand ancient Greco-Roman history. The New Testament takes place, mainly, in the Roman Empire.

 

ACTS 12 in the Bible(many young people reading from around the world, may not know this), says that King Herod killed James the Apostle and put Peter in prison.

 

This King  of ACTS 12  is King Herod Agrippa 1. He was the grandson of King Herod the Great. Herod the Great, as you know, was the king who tried to kill baby Jesus.

 

Incredibly, a detailed picture(likeness) of King Herod Agrippa 1 is on a few, almost 2000 years old, extant((still existing) coins.

Go to 2nd search result with coin images:

The two dark grey coins from "vitualreligion.net & mefacts.com" are the ones  with Agrippa 1's true likeness. But you have to be warned that King Herod Agrippa 1 minted many coins. Just because you read "coin of Herod Agrippa 1" it does not mean it is Agrippa's true picture on it -the kings who mint the coins usually put the Roman Emperor's bust/picture on it.

 

 If you want to be 100 percent sure you are seeing the King Herod Agrippa 1 of Acts 12, then go to GOOGLE books:  search:IMAGES  AND MONUMENTS OF NEAR EAST DYNASTS 100 B.C. - A.D. 100 (author:Andreas J. Kropp)

Then search in the preview window: Herod Agrippa coin image (or likeness)  { see on page 76 ; fig. 31}

 

Please share this info about the coin with Christian youth or anyone. When I showed a photo of a coin with the real 2000 years old image of Salome ,from the Gospel of Matthew, to a Christian youth, she was absolutely shocked that we have real images of people from the Bible.Her entire family was tremondously excited to see the image - it truly strengthened their faith in Jesus and the Word. We have to edify the church in this day and age.

How could a painter who was not born until 1406 AD be able to paint a real life picture of someone who lived 1406+ years before he was born?

This is just a interpretation of what he believed she looked like.

Regarding my October 11 ,2014 General Discussion essay about the true "picture of Herod's Step-daughter( Salome)" from Matthew's Gospel, another  Worthy member had  pointed out I was referring to the" Coin of the King of Chalcis"  on the Salome Wikipedia page ,not to the painting that is at the top. Many Bible scholars and historians  believe that the female "picture/image" on this nearly 2000 years old coin is in fact Tetrarch Herod Antipas' step daughter, who asked that John the Baptist be killed.

 

Just to be extra clear , this time I headed the topic under 'Numismatics', which is the study of coins.I also mention an excellent book about actual real images/pictures/likenesses of people who lived between 100BC and AD 100.

 

There are existing  authentic   ancient real images of 8 or 9  people from the New Testament, admittedly 3 of which are Roman Emperors, but the others such as King Herod Agrippa 1 are directly connected to the murder of James the Apostle and the imprisonment of Peter in Acts 12.

 

As I show in Topic 2 of my present essay, we have a real true image/picture/likeness of Herod Agrippa 1 on a coin from AD41.

 Jesus said in John 14:11(NIV):Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves."  

 

There are miraculous evidences today in 2000 years old coins and archaeological discoveries,( such as the Southern Steps of Jerusalem's Temple Mount, astronaut Neil Armstrong said was more exciting than walking on the Moon.

 

Let's make believing in and knowing Jesus Christ more exciting than anything else in the Universe!

We have but barely begun to tap the embarrassing riches of knowledge about how the natural world works via the scientific method. In that sense, science is far from dead. The growth of our knowledge is currently exponential. That science could never explain all there is to know I hope is obvious to everyone here, but that hardly implies it is dead as a discipline.

Science can never even scratch the surface of correctly understanding even  one thing about the natural world/Universe. 

 

I will not talk about the somewhat complex ideas of error and limitations of formal systems; but to be very simple and clear, I will use the analogy of LEGO TOY BLOCKS because young children and Nobel Prize science winners might read this.

 

Science is only a tool/technology invented by the human brain.The brain and the Universe were invented by the Omniscient Extra Universal Intelligence,the Creator Jesus(with His Father and Holy Spirit).

 

Nature/the Universe can be thought of as LEGO. Science will one day, when it is completely developed, tell us that the most fundamental type of  particle/energy/building block of the Universe is pink. Nobel Prizes will be given. Movies made.

 

Science will be 100 percent wrong. That Lego building block/material law of the the Universe, is actually RED.

 

I hope people realize that to land a man on the Moon, or to make a smartphone/mobile phone, we only needed to know the physics(science) and math(science) to the accuracy of sort of pinkish.  When science ultimately discovers  it is pink, not sort of pinkish, (but only the Creator,Jesus, can know this block/law of the Universe is actually RED) humans might be able to engineer smartphones with instantaneous communication, even over billions of light-years.

More likely though,we will be able to talk directly to someone on the other side of the Earth, without the need of a telephone corporation relaying the signal.

 

 But the perfect, exact description that the block/law of nature is really red, is impossible for the scientific method to ever understand: this was proven by the greatest discovery in math, the Incompleteness Theorem.

 

The sciences such a physics and chemistry (etc.) are  mere technologies such as electrical engineering .Even mathematics is a mere technology of the human brain. They are tools our brains may use to simply learn to "play" and "build" more and more complex objects and methods,  using the Christ created "Lego" Universe/nature.

 

And  science will one day discover that there is a  "block"/law of physics that is aquamarine (an advance from science thinking it was PURPLE).

But that law of the Universe/Lego is actually BLUE. Only Jesus Christ can see the true laws of the Universe.

I think it is an understanding of reliance... all things are possible if permitted and

an exact cost occurs in changing the course directives. We are in an infinite reality

with finite only as a codling of God in beginnings! The fluid like state of reality

is not based on the finite codling of God in creation but His infinite nature of Being

and truly the infinite basis in math is the structure from which we understand this.
