Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and what it might mean? He was the first thing I noticed and I the first thing he noticed. Any replies would be a great help to me. Thank you.... Though not as much as of late because it is very cold in Massachusetts now. You might see them more because your climate isn't as bad and they are out and about. The schools in the Boston area have closed because they don't want the kids out waiting for buses in that kind of temp..it is only safe to be out with exposed skin for about 10 min. before frostbite can happen. I don't think I will be seeing any owls...hopefully they will be hiding in trees keeping warm!
