Yes, Yes Beloved I Do Think It's A Great Way To Share Jesus

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

And To Encourage Believers In Their Walk

For the body is not one member, but many.
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1 Corinthians 12:14-18

But, I Do Not Blog

And if they were all one member, where were the body?

But now are they many members, yet but one body.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
 1 Corinthians 12:19-22

I was just looking into this last night,I never blogged before...can you tell me how you do this? :)

Posted

i have a blog. what i'm doing with it is (slowly but surely) putting everything i've ever written into it, so that all my writings are in one location. a legacy for my kids and grandkids. i have it categorized... in it is a prayer journal that i keep private, and a "health journal" where i keep track of how much i'm eating and exercising, and that is also kept private.

the public areas include my thoughts on sunday morning services each week (except this one because i was busy), a poetry section, a section where i am adding all the newspaper articles and columns i've written over the years, and most importantly, my B90 archives...

so what is B90? a few years ago i blogged through the entire bible in 90 days. it was very time and labor intensive, but there are some very good studies that i wrote. i've got a little less than half of them archived so far, and i'm adding them in reverse order so that eventually when my kids or grandkids read them, they'll start at day 1 and finish at day 90.

anyone here is welcome to follow it if they want. it's on earthpsalts on wordpress.

angels4u, i'll be happy to help you learn how to set up a blog... i'm kinda busy today though. but it's pretty easy to start. go to wordpress.com and create an account. then you can browse around and find a free theme you like. it will install at a click of a mouse. from there i'll help you via pm if you want.

Well I love the idea of blogging. I have tried blogging before but the problem I encounter is what do  I have to say that is worth sharing and also I dont have any readers apparently. I will say from past blogging experiences that it should not be used for venting or complaining about people. I can personally say in the past I did it implicitly and it caused problems for me in some friendships. Blogging is not to be used for gossip either.

Well i have not kept mine updated I just let it go sorta lol. Maybe when I have something worth sharing I will write again.

i blog for my kids and grandkids. the girls have no interest in reading what i have to say at this point in life, and the grandkids are much too young, but SOMEday, what i have written will be my legacy to them.

and hey, if you blog a prayer journal, God will read it. and if you blog your thoughts from reading the Bible or about the sermon at church on sunday, it will always be something worth sharing, even if you have no followers. someday you just might!

I am a new blogger here. :) I've blogged before, but never with any aim or success, those were the times before I became saved. And about a few days ago, I began a blog dedicated to Christ, my days of faith, creativing writings, etc. It's new, and still under construction, though... I use Tumblr, because I've used it before, and because random/stranger people can actually see your new posts, 'like it' and sometimes befriend you. Which is what is cool about Tumblr, I think, because I like to reach out to those seeking Christ...which was my initial aim, many days ago. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
