Joel 2:25

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. Joel 2:25

 

 

Several times these past months whenever I feel completely hopeless, this Bible verse from the book of Joel shows up somewhere. More then once when I was feeling upset, I have log onto my facebook page and there it was posted on my wall. This last time it was posted by someone I don't know and was not on my friends list. Another time when I was upset it showed up on a church bulletin I happen to be looking at. It is strange that whenever I feel like I am going over the edge, this verse is shown to me. It must mean something? God's way of speaking to me? Is God saying to me that he is really going to restore to me all that has been lost in my life?

Hi Ladykay;

 

I can only speak from my own point of reference, and where God has led me so far in my walk with Him.

The passage that keeps popping up for you to see, is very hopeful and inspires the thought of not giving up,

 

In our faith we can find hope. Amen!

 

There is another passage that gives me hope:

Romans 8:28

28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;…

 

The Holy Spirit works in wonderful and mysterious ways.

God always is the giver of hope to those who search Him.

 

This has been my experience so far, when all seems hopeless, His word says to hang in there and to not give up hope

as He has something good in store for us.

 

Trusting Him by faith and not sight, we are called to continue and not give up seeking His upward calling.
