Liberation theology...huh. Bad choice for a name.

It begs the question: liberation from what?

If they want a liberation from some form of objective morality, they must admit there already IS an objective morality that they want to be liberated from.

If there is no objective morality then there is nothing for them to be liberated from, in the first place.

If they want liberation from others' perspective of morality, they must admit that they have an objective morality (apart from others) and they're making the claim that their "flavor" of morality is absolutely correct. In that case other faiths will need "liberation" from their morality if they ever manage to be successful in their pursuits of indoctrination. In that case they're the ones that people will want to be liberated from.

"Liberation" theology. Now, that's an oxymoron.

Don't get me wrong...

I know that Christ liberates us from our sins but He does so when we kneel before Him in all humility and accept God's law as absolute. God's *law*. Not my law, not yours: God's. His Will is absolute and not relative, in any way.

which is what

the world church has thought for hundreds of years, and implemented in the martyrdom of millions of Jews, christians, russians, germans, africans, south americans, etc etc etc ....

oh, don't worry - you won't see this in american news... ("land of the free"?) ....

 

and remember, the world church has gotten in bed with all the leaders (few if any exceptions) of all the nations to get them under her control and to do her bidding, including all the wars for the last few hundred years or longer....

So, you're saying that liberation theology is an attempt at world domination...I can see that. That makes perfect sense, in fact.

Our president embraces Liberation Theology.  He said that Black Liberation Theology is bigoted, but he does believe in Liberation Theology.  It is currently being taught in several of our universities in the US, including the one in Chicago, Miami and elsewhere, under the guise of being "Christian".   Teaching that Christ did not die for our sins but to identify with the poor oppressed people, and that we should "spread the wealth around", it glorifies Moses for leading the people out of slavery and oppression as well as Jesus Who opened his ministry by reading from Isaiah 49 in Luke 4:28.  --preach the Gospel to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives, set and liberty those who are oppressed--.    Like other cults, it redefines words like salvation for its own use.

The Bible certainly teaches followers of Christ to care for the poor (Galatians 2:10; James 2:15–16; 1 John 3:17), and we should speak out against injustice. And, yes, the Bible warns repeatedly against the deceitfulness of riches (Mark 4:19). However, liberation theology goes wrong in a couple of places. For one, it places social action on equal footing with the gospel message. As important as feeding the hungry is, it cannot take the place of the gospel of Christ (see Acts 3:6). Mankind’s primary need is spiritual, not social. Also, the gospel is for all people, including the rich (Luke 2:10). Visitors to the Christ Child included both shepherds and magi; both groups were welcome. To assign special status to any group as being preferred by God is to discriminate, something God does not do (Acts 10:34–35). Christ brings unity to His church, not division along socio-economic, racial, or gender lines (Ephesians 4:15).

Hmmm...OldSchool. To a liberation theologian their perspective is a kind of "Orthodoxy".

They're the same as any other belief (in principle), but they can't see that or they refuse to admit it...

Not all of us serve demons, or will serve demons. Some of us might, true.

You're right to say that a large number of people will be willfully blind.

You also mentioned some kind of global "conspiracy" that involves all (or most) Nations. 'Sounds an awful lot like a world domination agenda.
