Regret downloading it yet? https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/windows-10-may-share-wi-164057617.html If you're taking up Microsoft on its offer of a free upgrade to Windows 10, you should know that the new operating system has a feature, called Wi-Fi Sense, that automatically shares your Wi-Fi passwords with others. When Wi-Fi Sense is enabled, anyone you have in your Skype, Outlook or Hotmail contacts lists — and any of your Facebook friends — can be granted access to your Wi-Fi network as long as they're within range. Microsoft added this feature to save users' time and hassle, but as independent security blogger Brian Krebs put it, some security experts see it as "a disaster waiting to happen." Good one, Pat. The WiFi Sense feature can be turned off easily from what I've seen. There are several articles around that tell how to shut off all the stuff you don't want running. Why would anyone do that? It does help if you are visiting someone's house with either your phone or tablet.... you can log right onto their wifi without a lot of hassle. At my house it would take ten minutes to type in the password and get through the firewall........ however at my house you simply are not getting my passwords.... so it's turned off. Also it makes it easier for the NSA to log on through your system if they are watching you.. But this isn't nearly as bad as the keystroke collection that Microsoft is asking for permission to upload.... that gets all of your passwords and every single thing you do and every place you go...... and that's crazy. Problem is, even if you say no, do they do it anyway and pay closer attention to the person saying no.

Why would anyone do that? It's Microsoft-they have never had a secure system. I used to run a small computer business, 90% of my business was fixing windows computers, and there was a reason for that. Windows has been the most insecure is on the market since its release, when I say Microsoft security is a joke I'm actually not kidding. Security wise your much better off with either Linux or Mac. Linux is probably the most secure but also the hardest to learn.
