ANY LEGACY?

Family Legacy-

Miles of mountains, time, and hurtful pain separate me from the loved ones of my flesh. Some have chosen not to forgive and still hold me accountable for things that are beyond my control. Moving away was supposed to alleviate some of the hurts--especially for my husband!

I left a church that I was very active in. I was secretary to our music department and pastor. Choir was something I enjoyed immensely. I taught Sunday school in the primary department

Well, to me your legacy is that of one who welcomed me when I was new. I was never a chatter, but I have always enjoyed your gentle humor on the boards.

And of course, together we shared the fun of graphics when we had them.

I consider you my friend.

Nony, I came to chat about 5 months ago I think now. Time flys by. You were one of the first people I met in chat and your kindness and love was evident from the minute I met you. Your decision to leave here was your choice and I don't think theres a right or a wrong. I personally wish you would come back as I and many others miss you. We all have turning points in our lives where we need to re-adjust things according to God's will. A lot of times we don't understand why God makes these changes in our lives but I do believe all things are for a good reason. We just have to trust and rest comfortable in what He tells us. It has been good to hear from you and I hope you will come back, but if not, always realize you are a dear sister to me and I will always be thinking of you. Love ya and God Bless ! Mike

Unlike others who have responded to you,I don't know you and I know nothing about what has happened to you except what I just read in your message. However I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit so I am expecting God's opinion on your situation.

Well this is a good start, the Holy Spirit is telling me you are suffering from depression. When people are depressed, they frequently make self-destructive decisions. The Holy Spirit is upset with your decision to leave the Christian chat room.George was following God's leading when he asked you to become an administrator.Three times I read over your reasons for leaving that assignment and your reasons didn't make any sense to me any more on my third reading than they did on my first reading. Now it turns out, they don't make any sense to God either.God has called you to that assignment.Inactivity causes depression and spiritual weakness to set in.You have a strong need to serve God and He loves you dearly for that reason. That is why God has called you to a ministry.I am certain that the problems you encountered on the message board were real but so what?It was your assignment to straighten them out.George wanted to talk to you about them but you refused to talk to him.In my opinion that is an example of depression driven self-destructive behavior. But God isn't accusing you of any wrong-doing.The Holy Spirit isn't angry with you, just trying to get you to understand that you made a mistake leaving a God ordained ministry that you have both an emotional and spiritual need to continue in.

((((NONY)))))

Big Hug sister.

Legacy?

A wise man once told me under the Divine Guidance of the Holy Spirit. That we will not know what we have accomplished here until that day. Then people we never knew? People who only read one post? They will come and say ,"Thank You! I read one of your posts on Worthy." Or," you once counseled me in Chat!" This led to me making a decision to accept God's Grace. Of course all the belssing and honor and Glory go to Christ Jesus. Yet you have been a willing vessel and continue to be. Your heart is speaking.

Sister,

Do not let the enemy take anything away from you. he's a liar and a cheat. Legacy? Your part of that generation running the race. :whistling::thumbsup:

Oh sister you see? God Loves you very much, very much!

Today this post has Blessed me.:whistling:

Legacy?

Man it's still unfolding. The thing is it's God's legacy we are building.

Come sister let us go to the House made without hands and bow down giving Praise to our God and King. Together we'll bow and weep. Sure were gonna get a crown. I'm giving mine back. I'm gonna bow there head down and praise Him. I'm gonna say,"look at Him, just you look at Him! Oh' my He is Lovely!"

Then the Angels are gonna sing. When you stroll by? They are gonna bow down again and say,"Did you see her that day?" "Oh my she and the King they broke thru the lines, she gave Glory to God with her very life. She was heartbroken for the King. Spent her life just spent it friviouslessly for the King. He is so very Worthy! She didn't spare a dime. You know He calls her His daughter? All of Creation was groaning for the manifestation of the Children of the King!"

Nony,

Let Pappa heal ya.

Legacy? What, what?

Daughter of God.

(((( Let Your Glory fill the earth, let me be the one to make You famous! Jesus!))))

Bless you sis.

Peace,

Dave

Your Legacy? Pam - you are a willing servant to God that has shown time and again how much you love our Father's children. You have helped many sis. You encourage when it's needed and give support when one is weak.

Sis, in the ancient world, when a patriarch left a legacy, it was a birthright, otherwise known as a blessing. The words he used in passing on his wishes to his children could be either a curse or a blessing. Words are so very powerful, and we in this contemporary civilization seem to have lost the knowledge of that. At least, the true power of it. Sis, your words have blessed many. Both in chat and on these boards.

None of us will know the full impact that we have had on this world until we kneel before our Lord and He Himself tells us. But sis, he told us that if we sow the right seed, that we will bear good fruit. I believe Him. We have to trust in that Pam.

I hope you accept the fact that you are a beautiful person, and loved by many.

YSIC

Nony,

You already know real well how I feel about you, as we email each other but the legacy you've left is that of a friend.

I know if I need to talk to you about anything, I can always write you and you'll write back. If I need to "vent"....you're there.

I usually dump (LOL) on WIP but sometimes when I'm feeling really blue, I just know you'll understand the pain. Somehow, you seem like one who has empathy for others...and feel what they feel.

Who wants to talk to someone who's never experienced lonliness, pain or sorrow?

Jesus was a "man of sorrows" and could relate to others.

God allows you to experience things so you can comfort your brethren as they walk through the same valley of sorrows.

There's a small number of persons here I really feel I can be transparent to... and that means I have to feel I can TRUST that person deeply.

What better legacy than to know there are people who trust their heart to you?

Nony,

Hello! I'm Keith and I joined the Worthy Boards recently so I don't know you. But after reading all of the above posts, I feel like I'm missing out! That's quite an impression to make on someone you've never even spoken to or chatted with!

May I humbly make a suggestion? Take your time making a decision in this matter. God is never in a hurry. I don't believe we need to be either.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
