My husband and I just recently returned from a long journey by car. As always, we prayed for God's protection on the journey.

We are blessed with an installed Navigation System in our vehicle so we rarely get lost.

Ironically, the very same route we took to get to our destination we got lost on returning.

We took the same exact route back but ended up in a circle 3 times and couldn't seem to find our exit. We were flabbergasted!

It took us a good 30 minutes to finally get on the right road.

By the time we were back on the road and headed for home, we looked up ahead and saw an amazing sight!

About 30 minutes before, a fresh accident had occurred. Two huge semi trucks had collided. One was an enormous lumber truck going southbound. Another semi was going northbound.

The the lumber truck had lost it's payload of lumber and lumber was scattered everywhere on both sides of the north and southbound lanes, resulting in TOTALING the other semi truck.

The semi truck going southbound (our direction) was a heap of metal. This was a fresh event and had happened within about 30 minutes. Police were just arriving.

We managed to slither through the debris and continue on.

We realized that God had allowed us to be confused and lost, EVEN with a Navigation System, in order to keep us from this event that was doomed to happnen.

I wanted to share this miracle with others.

We have an amazing God! Praise Him!

The same thing happened to me a few years back!!!!

We were Just about to go to evening church, and the door would not open for anything, which never happens, we pulled at the door and pulled till we couldn't we didn't know what was wrong.

So we just sat down on the couch and the door opened, know one could figure it out, so we went to church and on the way to church was a bad accident! we figured out how much time it was, it took us 10 mins for the door to open, 10 mins down the road was the car accident!

Things do happen that way. I missed the Oklahoma City Bombing over such as this.

Btw if you ever go to the memorial my seat would have been in the back row on the east end had God not pushed myself and a team mate into a meeting that morning.

I'm so glad you got "lost"! (You could have put your post in the angels thread!) I praise God you were detained and spared. Worthy wouldn't be the same without you. Know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers daily. I really mean that. You are precious to so many of us here!

My Wife an I had intended to go to a Meijers store.

One thing led to another as we tried to get ready, and we were getting behind the schedule we had set up for ourselves. When we finally got out the door, (And upon getting very upset) we decided not to stop at the store. As we looked from the highway, we could see the entire front of the store was lined up with ambulances!

Someone in the store had dropped a full box of MACE spray, and the air in the store was filled with it. People in the store were not able to see to get out, and several people were passing out.

If we had been on time, we would have been inside when this happened.
