why is the world against christianity ?

One could say they don't have a choice to not hate believers in Jesus. They can try but when push comes to shove and you stand firm on Jesus being the ONLY way to be saved and Him being the creator of all things, Well the blood of Cain starts to heat up. No one likes to hear their 20 years of budist meditation is worthless vanity. Besides a holy life will either repulse or attract. That's why as we live in the day we need to pray for the lost of this world, night comes when no man can work. We need our first love, oil in the lamps etc.

Being of the kingdom of this world is having the Devil as our father, no choice in the matter, being born again and of the kingdom of God we have God as our Father. We are told being friends with the world is emnety towards God. We have a choice as believers to follow the precepts of man or the precepts of God.

Why ask why?

Jesus spelled it out specifically that the world would hate us... and that's the way it is.

Are you asking why so that you can adjust your behavior and have them hate you less?

that's a real funny one,  NO,!,,, its not about me ? it is to get   others to see, about the hate that is in the world , and what it is  that makes the hate, come to be, ? and so its a great subject, and there is a lot to learn here, by the responses, and for me, brother, I do not care if any one, likes me , or hates me, for I bring the truth of the word of God, and tell it like it is, and if they cannot handle the truth , then that is there down fall,

we can only bring the word and show in our actions ,and our life to what following and believeing in Jesus, is all about,  and so I bring this up , for it is something we all face ,and its good to see other responses, for I use to have friends, and Christian friends, and they are all, no more, why ? for I told them about truth , and they even did not want to hear, it , for there Jesus was a jesus of peace and unity to everyone for peace reguardless of the rejection to the truth , of the real Jesus we serve,

and so we do not talk, and that's what the scriptures of God does , when we are spirit filled, and we preach the truth , it becomes, offensive to many and causes them  to be uncomfortable, and to feel guilty , and then they go away , for you by your beliefs remind them of there faults, when they know they are not right ,and they are deceiving and being deceived, like living in sin and still going to church, smoking and drinking and doing all the things of the world and yet saying they are  Christians, I have called them on it,

for we cannot say we believe and follow , when we are still willingly sinning, it is not the same Jesus people  make God to be, and there is no holiness in that , and no obedience, to the call,  only lip service, and a label,   like a rubber stamp if you know what I mean ?

  and so , we will have to endure hatred and even more as the days get closer, and some will lose Jobs,  friends , families are divided,  and our lives become,  placed on the line,

 this is the cost of following our God and savior, and for jesus also said ?, I come not to bring peace, but a sword, that will divide the families and the households, and son will turn on father, and the daughter to the mother and so on, and this is what we see, and so , I find it great to hear what others have to say ,

 for its becoming against military  to share and talk about the bible and God,  it is being removed in the schools and education system,

 we are hated by the new Islamic group and they are killing any and every one, that claims jesus ?

our government is against many of our standing , for we are now become radical fundamentalist, and are on the watch list, of America ,

 and we get , a lot of hate from all angels,  so why would we be hated  so much in a world today , for just loving God and others ?

I do not see we are posing a threat or, any problems that warrant this behavior to us ?

So would we say that Jesus warned us , for we will be hated and persecuted  and even put to death ? for His name sake ? matthew 24 ?

Because the Bible says the world would hate us.  I guess if we are hated we doing something right.  It means that we are going against the world. We are in the world but not of it.

great answers and responses that you every one, for the input, this helps to find the right scriptures and to place this in perspective to our walk in Christ, with out the knowledge of knowing we are doping good and bring Gods word , we are offending and going against the ways of the world , and when we can understand that our walk ids not a easy one, we can strengthen our selves in the light  and spirit of God, and this helps to guide and help others to see why we as Christians are not exempt from trouble, but we will have to face trouble, for the  word of God that we believe and have the faith in

 for we see the world as evil and the evil is not understanding the good? so when we see that evil is good and good is evil this will be a understanding to those in Christ, and the learning of a topic like this will give them new light to what we believe and why the world come at us for no reason at all,
