We are not grounded and rooted in a body of men of this world. Even a very simple minded person knows there is no pedifiles, murders, idoliters, greedy, thieves or evil people in the body of Christ or in the kingdom of God. So you can fool yourself and be lied to that your church is the body of Christ. But its just a worldly system created by the vain imaginations of men with wicked hearts. So if you think being in Christ is being in a worldly religious organization your pretty dang deceived.  They may proclaim christ but people think and act like authorities on stuff they are clueless about every day. It is just part of being flesh in this sinful world.

I have to agree with you Reinitin, the churches are just so deceived , and commercialized that it is hard to see how the bible states one thing and the church another, and we think that the church is of God today ?

but it is full of pagan worship and have taken the gospels to the deep of the water, and watered it down, and made it easy to listen , and takes all of the warnings out, it tells us that God is good, and you be fine, trust in God, but they do not give the hard teachings , that we are set out among wolves, and you will be hated , and the world hates you , they don't explain the COST ? of following jesus , just to follow Him,? and everything is just fine, this is where many turn from God for they have been thrown into a religion called a label and said fly , and hope you don't hit the ground,? how sad it really is ?

I don't understand.  I understand scriptures because I read them and the Holy Spirit leads and guides into understanding.  And for years, I sat under pastors and teachers that God has used mightily in the expounding of the scriptures.

What I am saying is...the Apostles Were given understanding of the scriptures, and sent to teach them. That is what our scripture of the new covenant is. So, the scripture cannot be understood without them.

Here is the difference....

You say you understand the scripture because you read them, and the holy spirit leads and guides to understanding.

I believe scripture teaches the apostles were given to understand them, and taught that understanding. Those in Christ will agree with the understanding the Apostles put forth already.

Perhaps we speak of the same thing here but word things differently. There is a big difference between the holy spirit opening the mind of someone to understand the scriptures (given the Apostles) and being able to accept and agree with what these taught.

Rom 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? {our report: Gr. the hearing of us? } {report: or, preaching? }
17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Matthew 15:…8'THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME. 9'BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.'"

Isaiah 29:13
The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.

Mark 7:7
They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.'

The thing is we are called to be salt and light in this world. its the way it is we just keep being salt and light till the Lords return. the world judges itself, flesh rules over flesh. But, we are to serve the Lord and His purposes. Whats going on in this world doesn't affect the kingdom of God. Jesus is at the right hand of our Father and every enemy of the kingdom of God is being put under His foot stool or feet. But, heaven rejoices over each soul transplanted from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His son. The Lord uses a vine or tree to help us see.. Well trees and vines just are planted and grow through seasons and weather conditions the storms and drought doesn't define anything about a vine or tree the tree just stays planted and endures it and keeps growing and drinks in the water left by the storm. We really need to just stay in Christ and quit trying to be judges in the world. the world will take care of itself.

If You are connected to the true vein the roots are gonna feed you, and keep you planted, and cause you to bare fruit.. I don't have to tell catholics Idolatry is a sin against God they know it and do it anyway and justify themselves with the deception they agreed with to define how it is not idolatry But you know The Lord commanded then not to bow and they just ignore Him and keep  doing it till their conscience is seared and then they start teaching people to partake in their sin. All flesh rebels against God, My flesh rebels against God, that is why we need Christ in us.

thank you Reinitin, that was a awesome statement, and one that I needed to hear especially this

We really need to just stay in Christ and quit trying to be judges in the world. the world will take care of itself.

for we are passionate of God and we are tryiong not to judge but to correct and instruct and reproof of scripture to be used in its order and to show the people that God is real and we stand for the gospels, and we also debate as we do , and push forward to let Gods word be heard , and in times it is needed for we are driven, and in other times, we need to be humble, letting the spirit guide, and show us the way ,your doing a good work for the kingdom, and planting good seed, thank you for sharing , for it is caring ?

great food for thought , I really enjoy your view and your passion, Blessings to you , and grace.... shalom

If you think about the cross. The Lord wasn't trying to persuade men by good arguments He was trying to get to our heart. As Long as we are judging sin, justifying, sin trying to persuade the minds of men its just fruitless, fleshly entertainment. The Lord helped those who came to Him. He made his self available, said what God put in His heart to say. when 1000 people heard Him some got angry, some got afraid and some believed. People of the world (which we once were) have used scripture for so much exaltation of their flesh and they use them to justify their wrong hearts and wicked inclinations. The only way a person will be corrected is if they come to the word in humility seeking to know God. Other wise its a stumbling block a tempter of the flesh. Satan even used the word in an appeal to the flesh to tempt Christ and Our Lord used the word to reveal the heart of God. If our hearts are not in it. Its just window dressing. We are witness to Christ who is still alive and still at work in this world.

The Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, righteousness and Judgment when people testify to Jesus. Only people who see their need for Christ are convicted. the rest just make rules and rituals to puff up there flesh and judge themselves as righteous and others as sinners outside of Christ. Our flesh will die causes it's sinful. If our hearts are not aching with love for our brother then we are usually are just using the word to gratify our own evil desires for control and superiority.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
