Which day would he say. God would say that the sabbath is the last day of the week, but the Lord's Day is the first day of the week, and the Lord's Day therefore supersedes the sabbath. Revelation 1:10,11 is important. 10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Many people criticize people for going to worship on Sunday. However read Colossians 4:14-17. It makes it very clear we are not to be judged by what day you worship. I believe we are worship everyday. So don't worry. Blessings, RustyAngeL

While the day may be the seventh day instead of the sixth day, observing the day as dedicated to worship and rest meets the requirements of that commandment. It is not the day of the week that is critical but what is done on that day. Hence Christ said that He is Lord of the sabbath.

Our employment can have people working around the clock 7 days a week 365 a year. Say for example a doctor saving a life on a sunday isnt sinning beacause hes working or a saturday for that matter. Take care and god bless. AndyMan

He also wants us to gather with other Believers and engage the lost people around us. Oh and guess what? Resting doesn't mean being at a church building all day contrary to popular belief amongst some people these days. God bless GE
