With love-in Christ,Kwik Do you honestly believe Jesus would be content to protest things like abortion at Planned Parenthood by marching in front of their facilities carrying a Pro-Life sign? Or would He be more active like He was when driving the moneychangers out of the Temple? It's a question worth considering by all Christians. The Democrat party left it's people behind, but so has the Republican party. On another Christian Forum, the one I was on before I came here, I was good friends with a leader in the NAACP. We agreed on so many issues, she being a little left of center, me being a little right of center. Where we politely disagreed was where solutions would come from. I'm a small government guy for the most part, she was a big government lady, for the most part. She was willing to overlook the Democrats/Progressives position on abortion, gun control, etc., because she believed in her heart they would do more for the less fortunate. Ideally they would, but they have no history of achievement to give anyone any degree of confidence. [As a side note, we both were banned from the same forum about the same time. There's a fine line for Christians like you and I to walk between turning the other cheek or being a doormat, to the Westboro Baptist Church. I have locks on my doors to protect my wife, my dogs, etc. If I truly loved all my brothers and sisters in this world would I have and use locks? Good locks make good neighbors. We've already foiled two home invasions that I was actively involved in, with the likelihood of as many as two more when I wasn't home. Kwik, I never even considered that you would think I was directing that at you. My mind is still coming back from vacation. I apologize.
