Dear Gothic,

Praise the Lord.

In the gospel of John, the religious leaders were trying to trap Jesus into an unpopular position. These leaders brought a woman before Him who they said committed adultery. They asked Jesus what should be done with her hoping that He would say that she was to be stoned to death and thereby He would appear unmerciful to the people.

He replied, "Let the one among you who is without sin cast the first stone at her." The leaders, being convicted in their hearts, left one by one until the only ones left standing there were Jesus and the adulterous woman. Jesus looked at her and said, "Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?" She replied to Jesus, "No one, Lord." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more." It is important to see that Jesus was forgiving of this woman's sin.

It is equally important to see that He told her to go and not participate in the sin of adultery anymore. If the religious leaders had brought a person who had committed a homosexual act to Jesus instead of a woman caught in adultery His response would have been the same. "I do not condemn you. You are forgiven. Go and do not commit the sin of homosexuality anymore."

Romans 1:21-27 [KJV]

When they knew God they glorified Him not as God, neither were they thankful, but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was necessary. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind.

In this section the Bible describes homosexual behavior as: unclean, dishonorable, vile, unnatural, unseemly, and reprobate. Obviously, contrary to notion that God is accepting of homosexuality, He detests such behavior and does not condone it in any form.

You would of course then call into account the Romans 4:1,5.

Shiloh has since rebutted with the actual meaning of the verses.

Brother Gothic, above all you know that whatever verses or expositions we show you that God loves you.

It is imperative that you know that above all.

Secondly unless you decide to recognize your sin, when the day comes when you are called before our Saviour, in that hour he will ask you depart. You more than anyone on this board knows the truth about homosexuality. You live the moments of shame day after day. I do not claim to know how you feel, but I know that deep inside your crying for freedom. That freedom you seek cannot be received with your own interpretations of Jesus or the Jesus that was created by other people who needed to balance their sin with Scripture and who desperately cling on to the very notion that one day will tear their salvation apart.

The freedom can begotten form the true Lamb of God the Jesus who came to set the captives free, not to justify their sins.

I also will not try to write you off in secondment to being a sinner myself. I just ask that maybe you give yourself a chance, a chance to sit down close your eyes and ask God to lead you, lead you to salvation. Throw whatever you have learnt good or bad about Homosexuality out of the window and ask God to lead you this time round.

I will keep you in prayer and in my heart. You being so close to the truth, it pains me to see the veil of deception satan has thrown on your eyes and heart. I pray God will remove that blanket very soon and that your testimony will be on this very worthy boards soon.

In the name of Jesus I ask.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
