The question should be, Are you filled with God's love for the people around you?  His love in us causes us to be more concerned for others than we are for ourselves.

Ask God to forgive you, to refill you with His Holy Spirit of love.  Then surrender every area of your life to Him--your loneliness, your doubts and fears, and whatever problems you are facing.  Just give them and all your life to Jesus and ask Him to make something beautiful of it.  Then praise and thank Him for all He wants to do in and through you.

That is pretty much my question too.  Are you a Christian, a born again believer?  have you asked Jesus into your heart?  Is He the Lord and Savior of your life.

To just say you are ignored by God is a pretty broad statement.  We do need to learn a little more.

Greetings BettyV,

Grace and mercy and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ.

First of all, I totally agree with sister Willa.

On 11/25/2016 at 6:32 PM, Willa said:

Do not be dismayed by the fact that people ignore you. No one can give what he does not have. After all, only God is love (1 John 4.8,16). Review the following verses:

  • ·         “And the earth brought forth grass, [ and ] herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [ was ] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [ it was ] good.” (Genesis 1.12).
  • ·         “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [ it was ] good.” (Genesis 1.21).
  • ·         “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.” (Genesis 1.24).

Note that every living being bears fruit according to its kind. And what is the kind of man?

  • ·         “And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart [ is ] evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” (Genesis 8.21).
  • ·         “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.” (Psalms 58.3).

Since a bad tree cannot bear good fruit (Matthew 7.15-20) and bitter water supply cannot gush fresh water (James 3.10-12), how can we hope that something good come out of a being whose nature is sinful?

  • ·         “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? [ then ] may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.” (Jeremiah 13.23)

Jesus was clear:

  • ·         “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” (Luke 6.45).

Each one becomes that which nourishes them (both in terms of body, mind, feeling or spirit). And the worst: end up being consumed (possessed) by this:

·         “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.” (Proverbs 27.20)

  • ·         “All the labour of man [ is ] for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.” (Ecclesiastes 6.7).
  • ·         “Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun. There is one [ alone ], and [ there is ] not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet [ is there ] no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither [ saith he ], For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This [ is ] also vanity, yea, it [ is ] a sore travail.” (Ecclesiastes 4.7,8).

That is why, even if one wish, could not love you, because it is too busy with himself. How could it be different? From the moment that the person does not know who is and for what was created, the most logical is that he goes behind many things that can calm his voracious soul. After all, he does not know what to ask, what to look for, where to go and in which door slam (see Luke 11:10; James 4.1-3).

A person with a soul so full of unrealized desires and frustrations, just tread the honeycomb:

  • ·         “The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.” (Proverbs 27.7)

It's no use!

  • ·         “Man [ that is ] born of a woman [ is ] of few days, and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.”

Without Jesus no one can seek what is useful (and, obviously, to reap what is good - Galatians 6.7-9). And the worst is that human beings still have the impertinence to throw the blame on God. But He is very clear:

  • ·         Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [ his ] face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor [ any ] pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works [ are ] works of iniquity, and the act of violence [ is ] in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts [ are ] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction [ are ] in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and [ there is ] no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.” (Isaiah 59.1-8)

Even if you apparently find someone who appreciates, CAUTION! You may end up cursed:

  • ·         “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed [ be ] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, [ in ] a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed [ is ] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and [ that ] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart [ is ] deceitful above all [ things ], and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17.5-9).
  • ·         “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6.26).

So if you want to be successful and truly happy, instead of waiting in humans, rest and wait ONLY in Jesus (Psalm 37.4,7) and allows your happiness rests on the possibility of seeing Jesus using you to love, comfort and make others happy.

  • ·         “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [ with him ].” (Psalms 126.5,6).

May Jesus can do the Living Water to gush from your inner (John 4.13,14,28; 7.37-39) and to free you from the burden of spending a lifetime begging the few crumbs of "love" that can fall from a human life.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
