It is my position that school shootings are not a new phenomenon. Cases of that go back to long before we became an independent nation, and it only makes sense because that is where most social inter-action occurs in people under 19 However, mass shootings/killings in theaters, parades, schools, and dance clubs are a bit different. I will have to research this again (it's been a while) but I recollect that all of the perpetrators were using some kind of psychotropic drugs. Several of the youthful murderers had been on ADHD drugs since childhood. But even the gay islamic democrat who shot up the club in Florida was on drugs. It is my contention that the reason we've seen a rash of mass murders has more to do with drugs than guns. Discuss? We don't do enough for mental illness either. We need more resources for people like that. Unfortunately, some of these people would probably have not reached out to those resources even if they were available. We live in a world where dangerous people exist. Guns are not the problem, people are. A heart that doesn't value human life. Look at what one person in France accomplished with a truck.
Guest
The problem is two-fold. Radical Islam and illegal guns. Get the illegal guns off the streets and deport Islamists from this country and problem solved. What about the whites who are also shooting people, you say? Again, get the illegal guns off the streets. Enforce the laws already on the books.

When a person decides to kill, guns are really not part of the real problem

We have been killing each other over since cain and able.

Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first." The emptying of a house by sweeping it clean with drugs, illegal or prescribed, does not by itself save the house. It simply empties it, leaving such a cleansed house (person) extremely vulnerable to a terrible plight to come, the arrival again of the old tenant demon plus seven more, or even a legion, of his closest friends for company, a whole party house filled of demons. ..."And people came to see what it was that had happened. And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs. And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region. As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him. And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled." We each have our own personal need to fill our house with the word of God, so that we are not an empty house vulnerable to occupation by squatters.
