You need to donate where your heart directs you.

If the Lord tells you to give in a certain area, then by all means do it. Obedience is best.

Aside from that, this statement has me concerned.

This month I received money from the VA claim I had placed last Sept.

Why would you place a claim with the VA, if you didn't need the money for yourself? Essentially, you taken from the tax payers, and gave it away.

VA benefits are for veterans who need he money.

I guess I don't understand how you could put in for a benefit, that you yourself did not need.

WOW...jim....you have no idea whether snow needed that money or not...

I will not explain for snow...but I can tell you this...she is the type of person if she only has two dollars in her pocket she will give it away...this lady has been through alot but she never fails to bless someone else if given a chance.

Love and Blessings,

Angel

While I understand what you are saying Neb, I don't think you fully understand what DE was saying here. We all must agree that it is far more important that this Jew finds Jesus than that they get a trip to Isreal. What DE said was actually promoting relations between Christians and Jews, in this scenario I like DE would only donate if I knew the one I was sending home was a Messianic who could help to further the Kingdom of Christ amongst his/her people.

God Bless,

Dave

You are way off base here brother, the question is not do I need this money, the question is does somebody else need it more then I.

VA Benefits are not easy to get. If she applied, and qualified, then she deserves the money. Snow is held accountable to God for her stewardship. I don't think God will have any problems with her donation. Good on ya, Snow!

I know a lot about VA benefits, and what you must do to qualify for them. My father became disabled back when he was 43, I was 12 at the time. My family, lived off of VA benefits and my father, at age 82, still receive's some help from the VA.

It just strikes me as something wrong, to apply for government benefits, which come out of taxpayer's pockets, that you don't use for yourself, but give them away. Either you need it, or you don't. If you are willing to go without for yourself, fine, but you probably didn't need the money in the first place. If you don't need it, leave it for other's that do and especially don't ask the oblivious taxpayers, to forcibly contribute to your little private charity.

Greetings,

I just cannot understand the concensus of the majority here that have posted. I suspect the majority are pre-tribbers and this has shaped their views. But being a pre-tribber then you believe that the anti-christ will be set up in Jerusalem and everyone will have to take the Mark of the Beast. Jerusalem is often believed to be Babylon in Revelation.

Currently, according to our Forum Host, George, there are less than 2% of those in Israel who are Jews that know their Messiah. So of the 5.3 million Jews, only about 106,000 or less are True Jews.

Now, what sense does it make to send someone there when it is much easier in almost every other country to reach them with the Gospel? You guys just don't seem to get it.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

God is calling ALL Jews back home, not just us Messianics. The truth is that there are Messianic ministries in Israel that minister to unsaved Jews being brought back into the Land. True, Jews need Jesus more than they need to live in Israel, but when Christians help Jews return to Israel, we are becoming God's partners as He fulfills His promises to the Jews in Ezek. 36. Ezekiel 36 prophesies that God will bring the Jewish people back to the land IN their unbelief.

Furthermore, Jewish people who are unsaved will not in all likelyhood be reached in Europe or many of the other countries they currently inhabit due to the anti-Semitism that is so prevalent world-wide. They will not darken the door of a church, and pretty much insulate themselves from the Christians. Most churches in Europe and abroad do not have a serious plan about reaching the Jews anyway. Only in Israel, are there minsitries that are sensitive the particulars in reaching Jewish people.

I know of plenty of Christians who donate money to nonChristian Gentiles to help them get a place to live, to have food or clothes or even employment. Why does that standard disappear where Jews are concerned? Why are the only Jews we minister to, Messianics? There are Messianic ministries in Israel that Jews suffering Europe do not have access to. They are more likely to hear the gospel in Israel than almost any other country in the world, save the U.S.

The Church has a lot of work to do in helping to heal the rift between us the the unsaved Jewish community. Snow has done something to help heal that rift, and I will support Snow all the way.

No, YOU don't get it.

God is calling the Jews, back to their land. Most of us want to partner with God and bless the Jewish people. If you don't, well then fine. That's between you and God. But don't disparage those who seek to bless the Jewish people.

So of the 5.3 million Jews, only about 106,000 or less are True Jews.

So what makes you think the ratio is any different among Jews in Russia? Romania? Hungary, etc.? There is very little done to reach the Jewish people in those countries by the Christians that live there, much less by missionaries that are sent over.

BTW, you are not in a position to tell anyone, including Jews, who is or is not a true Jew. Don't even start trying to tell anyone especially a Jew that he does not fit your unscriptural definition of a "true Jew." It that kind of stuck up presumptuous nonsense that turns Jews away from listening to those of us who actually KNOW what we are talking about.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
