Looks like another manifestation of the insanity that is taking hold of people after the elections.  The question I have is how was this pilot allowed to breeze through to the plane instead of being stopped, reprimanded, and immediately replaced?

There was another incident recently with a couple of drunken pilots almost ready to take off and kill themselves and a whole bunch of passengers.  Why are the airlines not taking more precautions after these reports become public knowledge?

I think from what I read she didn't have the meltdown until she boarded the plane.

This pilot apperars to have had a breakdown....thank God it was before the flight took off.  I hope the poor woman gets help and I don't blame the passenges for getting off the plane.  I would have run for the exit myself!

She Sounded Reasonable To Me
After All, Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned....

~

No one is angrier than a woman who has been rejected in love. This proverb is adapted from a line in the play The Mourning Bride, by William Congreve, an English author of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. Well, I was once on a flight and the flight attendants opened up a storage area and were taking life jackets out of it frantically. I hate to fly so I must have turned as white as a ghost. We were 3,000 ft over the Pacific ocean

Did you mean to type 30,000 feet?  Because if you were mid flight, that would be more accurate.  If you've mid flight and only 3,000 feet, there were other problems going on.

3,000 might be right though if you had just taken off and were heading over the ocean and ascending.

Blessings,

-Ed
