I also agree that the second time we went into Iraq was a mistake, though I don't think it was because of what Saddam said. George Bush wanted to complete what he thought his father did not finish. But all his talk gave Saddam enough notice to move what had to be moved. The second time we went into Iraq was for things that were there on a spiritual realm. We took them out of the country and found we didn't know what to do with the rest of the country so we just left it all screwed up.

I see some who have served and speak out of their experience, and I see others who speak our of some sort of fear. There may also be those who are all about Make Americas Great Again without understand what a war like this would mean. I mean we have a good number of people that seemingly want us to attack NK, and I am not sure how many of those have served and how long ago they did serve. I also see a lot of what I think is an unrealistic view of what damage is capable of being created just by bombing and lobbing missiles.

N.K. will go back into it's hole and stay quiet after awhile and things will "normalize" again soon. Meanwhile, the US will put U2s and E3s over the North Koreans and gather intel. I agree that it is just posturing, but I am not sure it will be effective and I think there are some that will be disappointed if there is not an all out assault on NK. The U2 has never stopped flying over NK, it is a regular as clockwork.

I think that they'll increase the U2 over-flights and basically have them run several at a time, non-stop... they'll also be watching N.K.'s northern boarder to see what measures the Chinese may be up to. But yeah.. posturing.

Un tends to take his frustrations out on his people and they tend to want to flee to China for there is no way to go south. No proof of that but kind of makes sense.
