No, it is not semantics.   No one said a guy chopping firewood without a shirt on was filth.  It was the issue of public nudity.   A little more intellectual honesty would be helpful.

What about a gal chopping firewood without a shirt on, would that be filth?

Yes, it would be inappropriate as that would be public nudity.

So, it is ok for a man to display public nudity but not for a woman.

thanks!

Nope. A man without his shirt off is not nudity.  A woman exposing her breasts IS nudity.

Again, you're not being intellectually honest.  Par for the course.

Yes, that's even in our laws.

So, if the law does not prohibit a woman to be topless, then it would be ok?

If a woman is topless it is considered nudity or at least partial nudity.   A man going topless is not.   The laws could change and allow a woman to go topless, but that would still be nudity and still be against the Word of God and it is filthy. Just because something is legal, doesn't make it right, or moral.

This thread is really unedifying for anyone reading as a guest.  Can y'all just agree that a Christian KNOWS when they are being modest and when they are not and stop nailing these silly petty points to the wall?  Everyone knows that topless women are not acceptable and no one looks twice at a shirtless man.  Why is it worth arguing over?
