Simple kitty if they ask you you can simply tell them the truth for what it is that it is an abomination to God and cannot continue to be Gay and inherit the kingdom of God. But they can be saved through Jesus Christ and turn from their sinful ways that they might go and sin nomore and be changed in heart mind and spirit.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I wounder ben.. if I were to tell you that, you most probably are not sent from God and that Jesus is a gentleman in all counts and He never pushes anyone near him, he gently yokes them to His side.

Would you listen ?

No.

Rather, If I were to tell you you have to stop this mindless bablings before someone listens to you and actualy follows them.

Would you listen ?

No.

See.. a hard stance at anything never really produces the intended results.

It never does.... not with kids, not with adults and most deff" not with folks who need that additional arm of love in order to be drawn to the Lord.

With Love

There are many people at my school that are homosexual, gay, lesbian, transexual... the list goes on... I hav spoke against homosexuality(this is not meant to become a debate on homosexuality) a couple times at school, and many ask me if i have anythign agaisnt the peopel themselves. That adds on to the situation, because i am not sure if i should try and avoid them or what. However, i am trying to tell them what the bible says about it, and i have many other people starting to say that i am hypocrite because i donot like homosexuals or else God does not love people... they come up with weird things... i am not sure how to talk to them or how to tell them that what they are doing is wrong.... any ideas?(not dealing with Day of Silence thing in this topic)

Well, Kitty let take a stab this just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly.

1) You have spoke against homosexuality.

*There is nothing wrong with speaking out against this it is how you feel and what you said that effects how you deal with this whole situation. I don't know what you said or how you said but pray before speak out loud next time. Because now they may never be willing to listen to you again.

2) You would like to witness to them but are not sure of avoid them because you do not know what to say.

* IF i were you I would not try to witness them alone. Go with 2 or 3 friends that are on the same page as you. BUT, since you have already shared your opinions they already know basically what you think. Time for a new approach.

*New appraoch be there friend first, no one wants to greeted hi how are you? you know what you are doing is wrong? 90% of the time they already know what they are doing is wrong.

*Jesus did not go up the lepor and say you know you are sick because you are sinner. No, Jesus went to them and befriended them when no one else would. He should them unconditonal love when no one else would.

*Also, Jesus did not condem Zacheus for being a wrong evil greedy tax collector, instead he went over to his house and ate dinner with him and told him about the Love he could offer if he changed his ways. He did change.

*Going to them now will be very hard because you have stated what you stand for, now you need appologies to them because you do not fully understand them nor did you take the time to listen them. This is what you need to do if want to witness to them at least once you become friends they will be more willing to listen to what you have to share instead of shouting it down their throats about how bad they are they already know how bad they are.

May God Bless you in what ever come about from this,

ray

Great insight ray :noidea: Do not justify what they are doing...that is what most are looking for...a justification of their sin...or someone to tell them thats it ok to do what they are doing...you don't have to "preach" with your words...preach to them with your actions hun and you won't go wrong.

By the way I am assuming that most of these kids your speaking about already know your stance...

Love and Blessings,

Angel

I do not mind having no wisdom, in your line of thought.

All I can see from your endless pursuit for perfection is that you have never tried winning someone over to Christ in real life.

It is not an act where you stand holding the Bible on top of the mountain with the wind blowing in your hair, and you raise your hand, and point it to the homosexuals and cry "repent and be saved or perish in eternal flames if you refuse!".

You liken yourself to Christ but do not show the compassion that was the Corner stone for His Ministry.

I would have scrolled past most of your dialogues if not for the fact that someone might actualy believe what your writing and proceed to apply it to his/her walk with Christ.

First Christ has to lead and then you follow, you on the other hand have yet to show leadership which in fact shows you are not being led.... see my point ?.

In all things brother Ben only His will, will be done.

With Love & Prayer.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
