There seems to be the assumption that because a person gives into temptation, that they are not Christians. This isn't fair, for we don't know where that person is in their walk with God. They may be a new Christian or someone that isn't having a lot of growth quickly. We all stumble and fall at times. Our job is to humbly and gently help that person back onto the right path again for we don't know if it would be one of us next time.

Hello again thank you so much for your immediate response. I feel what you said and what you mean.

You said that you know what is it like to suffer from big anxiety. I have thoughts that if I don't write this sentence with this type God will not like me. Or I want to enjoy my meal and thought jumps in my head taahat id I enjoy it i will be punished, because i didn't do it. I dont know if this ois just my sick way of thinking these are really orders from God. I dont think so, that those thoughts jumping un my head aren't mine. So that's my problem.

I will pray for forgiveness and believe with my whole heart in Jesus Christ and in our Lord. He is our father and his main goal is to help us. Or am i  not right? Please help me. I know I have lack of knowledge about this. I am starting reading bible, so i  hope i will gain more knowledge.

Thank you so much. And i also wanted to ask you, how should i fight with OCD when thought like if i enjoy a meal that something bad will happen? I feel like God is proving me if i am able to do everything what God says to show him that i am  100% devoted to him. I want to show him that i believe in him, but i dont know if this is just OCD or it is something different.

Thank you so much for all your answers, i am happy that i can talk with you about this problems and that you can help me. Thank you!

Johny111

I may need to break up my response to you into a couple of posts for easier reading. God's word assures us and promises us that he will never leave us or forsake us. God is not done with you and since Jesus himself was tempted, he knows what it is like for us and is wonderfully able to help us. God will NEVER tell us to sin or tempt us to sin. He will NEVER lie to us.

1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."

As you grow in Christ, you will learn to discern the difference between conviction from the Holy Spirit and condemnation from the accuser which is satan. When we sin, whether intentionally or unintentionally, the Holy Spirit will make us aware of that sin and God in his love for us, draws us to himself, causing us to confess our sin and experience repentance which leads us towards trusting Jesus and relying on him to save us.

Condemnation however, causes us to turn away from God in fear, dread, shame and despair. Condemnation comes from satan who is our accuser. Always trying to convince us of what a loser we are. We can also experience self condemnation which is false guilt when you blame yourself, even though you haven't sinned or after you have confessed and turned from your sin.

I encourage you to read 2 chapters from the book of Romans in which Paul talks about this very thing. I would like for you to read Romans chapter 7 and chapter 8.

Make a commitment to daily prayer and bible reading. Don't just go through the motions, and say to yourself...ok i've read scripture and prayed today; be truly desiring and committed to getting to know God better and better through reading his word daily and prayer. These two things are a must. Reading God's word will help you prepare your mind for the fight against temptations as well has help you grow in faith.

Surround yourself with mature Christian friends that not only will hold you accountable, but will also remind you of who you are in Christ and that he will continue to work on you through the presence of the Holy Spirit in you. Mature Christians can provide you with Godly advice and encouragement and pray with you to help you stay committed.

Realize that God created relationships and companionships between men and women because it isn't good for us to be alone. He created us for each other. This too, is to be within the boundaries that God declared and established. Half the battle is knowing what this sin is. Pornography is a cheap counterfeit desire for a loving relationship that can never be fulfilled. Instead, it leaves a person empty and void of proper fulfillment. Always promising, but NEVER fulfilling. It is the ultimate lie that deceives and leaves you totally dissatisfied. It can never satisfy you in the way that a real living and breathing human of the opposite sex can. Stay within the boundaries God has created for loving relationships.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
