Now to go to the very opposite and the best food I have ever been given it would have to be some Swedish meatballs when I was at a party once. This lady was Swedish but those were the best meatballs I have ever had in my life. YUMMY!!!

And I love eggplant, especially parmesan.  And I don't remember having any objection to pickled herring either.

I didn't eat the roasted caterpillars to be polite but because I was having a crazy moment.  And they were bitter and just awful.  Served me right!  Maybe they needed some horseradish.  Yuk!

Too funny,you ate roasted caterpillars?

I think kale is bitter. It is extremely healthy. I drink a juice in the morning that has kale in it. It is a V8 infusion juice. I choke it down.

I love kale:)

You are thinking of oysters green gland perhaps?  I didn't look.  They were very bitter and disgusting.  They were canned in oil like sardines.

But I love kale in Zuppa Toscona.    That's the spicy potato soup you get at Olive Garden.
