Fiosh, I understand what you are claiming but I must disagree with some of it.

You say, YOU do not believe that makes all other Christian denominations "false", just not "in full communion". All well and good, but what is the official position of the RCC? Is the quote in jc49

I have fully answered this in other threads, supplying several verses where Jesus and the Apostles and disciples all use the term "father". I wish I could remember which thread; if anyone does please let J. C. know.

(for example "Honor thy father and thy mother" )

Look up "father", lower case "f", in your Strong's.

Well, Paul tells the Corinthians he is their 'father.' If he and the other Apostles (who personally knew Jesus, by the way) had understood Jesus' saying to mean what you think He meant, then it is singularly unlikely Paul could have told the Corinthian Christians to regard him as their father!

I will say this: I will call no man on earth 'father,' however there are men in the Kingdom of God who I will call father........
