You guy's need to get over this Rome/Papal thing and pay attention to the scriptures and how Islam fits the profile of the evil religion of the last day's. Get over it...Islam will soon authenticate itself as the whore, the beast and the abominations of the earth.

Finally! Someone with some discernment!

Islaam believes:

*They are waiting for a messiah, he is the Mahdi, he will cause the whole world to convert to Islaam or be killed.

*He will appear just before the end of the world in a time of great tribulation.

*He will seize Turkey through force. (what about the fact that Turkey is the only Islaamic nation standing with Bush?)

*After uniting all of Islaam he will take over the entire world in the name of Islaam.

*There will be great prosperity including gold and silver for his followers.

*After this is accomplished the Mahdi will rule for five, seven or nine years, depending on which tradition is followed.

*The end of the world will come followed by the judgement of Allah.

Let's compare teachings

--Muslim-Mahdi will unite the Muslim world

--Christian-antichrist will unite 10 kingdoms(Rev. 17:12)

--Muslim-Gold and silver

--Christian-antichrist will honor his god with gold and silver Dan.11:38

--Muslim- will rule 5,7 or 9 years

--Christian-antichrist will rule for 7 years Dan. 9:27

--Muslim-Mahdi will come from the east

--Christian-antichrist will be great toward the east Dan. 8:9

Perry Stone interviewed a Muslim man asking him how he would describe the end of the world, his reply should chill you to the bone. He said:

Well there we have the antichrist riding on the white horse with a bow and no arrow, a crown of a conqueror--Rev. 6:2

I believe that the RCC could be the false prophet as they are uniting the religions now with the virgi Mary, both religions pray to here, believe she was Jesus' mother, the apparitions and co-redemption beleifs are just too obvious for me to see anything else at this time, but, of course, we don't know for sure.

Rev, on this point we will have to agree to disagree, I do believe that the Muslims play a role in these last day events, but not to that degree. I still believe that the beast is Rome and is the same thing as the Little Horn of Daniel.

Then, I come here and am told that I belong to the church which is the "Whore of Babylon" and is led by the antichrist

Fiosh, I know this sounds like a hate message, and maybe some bring it accross like that, but that is not my intentions. Jesus loves everyone wether you are Muslim Christian or Atheist, so I want you to kow that this is not a personal attack against any denomination.

Let's go further. If the beast is the amalgamation of all four beasts of Daniel, how can it be the little horn, which is only a part of the fourth beast? It can't work, and imagery doesn't work that way. You've focused on a detail, and missed the big picture.

The two and ten horned beast reflects Islam much better than Rome. Look at how many spires there are in Mecca and Medina.

You have demonstrated quite nicely that your method of interpretation is not biblical. You have taken a superficial physical resemblance between horns and spires and ignored the divine interpretation in the source scriptures. The ten horns are identified as kingdoms in Daniel 7:24. Since your approach follows that pattern, there is no point dealing with it. When you use the Bible as your interpretive source, then we will have something to talk about.

This demonstrates a geographic literalism. After the cross, Jerusalem is defined by the location of the church, not a spot on the map (Heb 12). The prophecies that remained unfulfilled now look at the church as Jerusalem. So it is completely irrelevant to debate who controlled the physical territory of Palestine. It

I know that most here express their beliefs about the RCC in love. In fact, I think it's sweet that some of you want to "save" me. But my point is, the church you describe is NOT the Church I belong to. I've been to MANY different Catholic churches in my lifetime, and NONE match what I read here.

I am an intelligent woman and an independent thinker.

I've spent lots of time and energy examining my Church (mostly to respond to non-RCC's). I've never been disappointed in what I find.

So, I know you are wrong.
