Hello, I am writing this as I am deeply disturbed by whats going on. As you may know in 1994 there was a genocide in Rwanda where over a million people were slaughtered. Did you know that right now there is another genocide going on. In Darfur, Sudan so far 400,000 people have been killed over 3 million have been displaced. Sudan is religously split. To the north is Islamic and to the south are Sudanese Christians. The Islamics are slaughtering the Christians. They are giving them the choice, either denounce Jesus as Lord and convert to Islam, or die. 15,000 more die each month. The Un is once again denying it's genocide and is not doing anything. President Bush has agreed to give like 240 million to help. He has failed to produce funds. As civilians we must take action. We can help. Go to the darfur genocide site to send letters to Mr. Bush, (emails that are prewritten but you can add to and sign), sign petitions, or fundraise. There are many fundraising ideas there. Please do whatever you can to help. I am spreading the news and am going to fundraise for the Genocide Intervention Fund. God bless you, from Julie

But the islamic Sudanese government is fully armed and sends planes to bomb hospitals and elementary schools. The reason this isn't front page news is because China and Canada get their oil from Sudan and any interruption would probably mean war...and they certainly pay a handsome royalty to the Islamic regime of Sudan

Meanwhile more than 2 million Sudanese christians have been exterminated....hundreds of thousands have been made SLAVES but it doesn't count because it isn't white men doing the enslaving. Where is the Congressional Black Caucus? The NAACP? The National Organization for Women? The UN?

I did not know that about China and Canada. It is both angering and saddening that human life takes a back seat to oil. We need to do more to help. Yeah, where are the liberal big mouths who always make such a deal about human rights? Why aren't they visiting their concerns upon the Sudanese government?

Well, if Bill Clinton did the job right the first time, Sudan and Somalia would be better off than today. Instead, he sends in too few troops with no support and then turns it over to the UN who did not want to do anything about it. Now some are complaining about us getting involved in Iraq and all the negative comments with that. How about this, we do nothing with Iraq, Sudan, Afghanstan, or any other country, live with our heads buried where the sun doesn't shine, and act like nothing is wrong. Isn't that what France, Germany, Canada, and all these other socialist and communist Anti-God countries want anyway?

You know what, I have a better idea. Let's pull out of all of these countries, quit chasing terrorists around the world, and give all the money "that we will save" to all the social programs in this country. Guess what. We will be like Rome and cease to exist within 10 years. Why not? We are already heading down that path as we speak. More is taken out of the budget for "entitlements" today (somewhere near 40% are some of the figures) that 30 years ago. We are a selfish, spoiled, ungodly nation who will soon reap what we sow. Why are we like this? Because we are worrying about what other nations think about us. Just like Christianity and the path it's heading down, we don't want to offend anybody. We no longer have the intestinal fortitude to stand up for our selves anymore. But when we get a president who is openly Christian and does what he feels is necessary, he is mocked and belittled. Sounds like someone else who did what their father told him to do 2,000 years ago.

People are starving. Kids living off leaves. Women getting their breasts chopped off. People are being slaughtered. I wish I could do more. Pray for the genocide to stop. God is stronger then anyone. Do anything you can. Go to the site to get lots of info on things you can do.

We should lobby that we get out of Iraq and help these helpless people rather than continue on war path this president has led us into.

The two aren't connected in any way. We should stay in Iraq until the job is done and we should help these helpless people.
