I must admit, it seems that we left the subject of the spirit of antichrist and reached right back into obedience.

The idea that we can remain sinless in this day in age is not a fairytale. For instance, Jesus said as in the times of Noah....so shall it be in day of son of man return. Was Noah a righteous man? What does it mean to be righteous? Why was he a righteous man in a perverse world? How did he become righteous in a perverse world? The answers to these questions..need to be answered by us, if we expect to enter into the kingdom of the Lord. I believe that the bible teaches that we need to doers of the word of God. When we put forth the effort to obey God's will, he will begin to work in our lives and gives us the strength or grace to obey all that his laws demand. We have to be willing to obey God here and now. If we fail to obey God here...do you think he will give us a second chance at his coming? In other words, if your disobedient here on earth, you will be disobedient in heaven. God will not take us to heaven to be disobedient. Thats why Satan and his crew are living amongst us now.

The idea that we cannot perfectly keep God's law originated with father of lies. He always claimed that mankind could not keep the law of God. If his claim had been proved true, then God would have to let Satan and the rest of the evil angels back in. Since Christ came as both God and man, a representative of mankind and God, Jesus kept the law of God the same way Noah, Daniel and Job. By faith in the God. Jesus had no special power that is not available to all who come to Christ to keep the law of God.

I already here someone grumbling...legalism. But, if you must be honest. Its those who are not obeying God's laws, that are causing the heart of the Lord to groan. Why would God be upset at those who are keeping their hearts and loving him and loving his neighbor as himself? Why? He would not. As a matter of fact, God honors those who honor him, like faithful Daniel.

Someone already quoted it, the cleansing to that the church be without spot or wrinkle...Sinless state of the church. Believe me. It is possible. The early church was sinless and they were a pure church. All accord. When Sapphira and Annais made up the lie about the property...did you hear in disagreement from the church what to do? Did you hear any backbiting, bickering or anything that happens when a member of the church is being reprimanded? Nada. They all agreed that it was a sin to lie to the Holy Ghost or God. And they paid with their lives.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Remnant, did you read the first post on the thread? We haven't left the subject by going to obedience because the spirit of antichrist is manifested by John's test question that amounts to if anyone denies the power of godliness which power Jesus died and rose so we could possess it, then that person is of that spirit of antichrist.

Seeing that you are promoting faith in the power of godliness; his grace that enables us to walk as he walked if we would just believe and yield to him (Rom. 6:16), you are definitely not in the category of those under the influence of that spirit of antichrist. You pass John's test question in 1 John 4.

The OSAS folks on the other hand are manifested to be antichrist as are all those misusing Eph. 2:8,9 to say that what we do has no bearing on whether or not we will enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev. 22:14

Eph. 2:10 1 Cor. 15:10 Php. 2:12,13

Faith without works is dead. A man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

But those works are not of our own doing lest we should boast but are accredited to God that works in us for we are his workmanship and not our own. He is made unto us righteousness. That is why we have changed from being the way we were before we received him. Eph. 2:1-3,5

John 1:12 Amen.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
