You can easily look up how many and how often people die from hunger. I'm sure either some of them prayed, their family prayed or even Christian strangers have prayed for God to help the starving, yet they have suffered and died.

Because it's not "prayer", it's "right prayer". For example, you will never, ever, ever hear of even one Christian starving who tithes, because God promises enough food and etc. to tithers.

God has not only national plans but individual plans. All people will die and God eventually "sends all bodies to the dust and collects the spirits within", so it's over the top to say "this death is better than that death".

If you want your own prayers answered "yes" more often:

1) Trust Jesus for salvation, not your works or prayer

2) Tithe and do works

3) Refrain from immorality, since the Bible says, "Refrain from immorality and know God's will," and praying God's will is going to get you to "yes"

It is often said that God will answer your prayers with either yes, no or not right now. However wouldn't No actually not be answering your prayer?

Example: If a person is starving and ask/prays for God to please give them food for the night and they do not receive it, did God just say No and that is it?

Seems a bit harsh.

You may want to study why God allows suffering. I am studying that myself. Sometimes God allows our faith to be tested to the point of death. We live for glory in the next life in Heaven. The Bible says we will be rewarded for what we suffer in this life.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
