Immanuel The Almighty One – Beloved Son of God-Son of the Most High -Son of Man -King of Kings –Supreme Creator Over All-Lord of All God The Alpha and Omega-the Chief Cornerstone-Great High Priest-Judge The True Vine-The Way-Truth-Life-Messiah The Word Our Hope-our Peace- our Advocate-Author and Perfecter of Our Faith- Redeemer-Risen Lord-our Authority-our Mediator The Good Shepherd- Bread of Life-the Bridegroom-Lamb of God-Savior He is Faithful and True-Holy Servant My rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God-Resurrection and the Life Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace Light of the World The Great I Am The Door The short list above gives me an idea of how great, awesome, mighty, holy is our God. But then in my bible, it tells me... "Jesus wept" What does this tell you about our God, who knows all things? Once at the cave mouth of the tomb of Lazzarous Once , when he said O jersualme , jerusalme , HOW OFTEN would I have gathered THEE, ONLY , ONLY , ONLY , YOU WOULD NOT . so who sends who to hell. MAN DOES IT TO HIMSELF . HOW often O WORLD would I have gathered you , ONLY YOU WOULD NOT . Yes, he knew Lazarus would die, and He didn't go to him until four days after his death, so much so that Mary and Martha were angry and upset, but He indirectly told His disciples that He would perform a miracle, which He did. But still, He was saddened by Lazarus' death and He grieved both for Lazarus and for the grieving sisters. HE SPEAKS and it is created . HIS ESSENCE creates when HE SPEAKS . AND JESUS IS HIS ESSENCE . When paul and barnabas performed that miracle in acts , the folks rushed up as though they were GOD or a god anyway , BUT paul made sure to say OH NO YOU DONT . When peter and john had spoke that word and the lame man was healed , THEY MADE SURE to say , WHY do you look on us and pointed to JESUS . BUT I want this to SINK DEEP INTO YOUR SOUL. HOW come when the disciple said to JESUS , after his resurrection , MY LORD AND MY GOD DID JESUS NOT CORRECT HIM . YEAH . Cause he is GOD . let that ever sink in deeply .
