We're all going to get ship back to our homelands.  They will have to split me up since my family came from a few different places. :th_wave:

If you came here illegally, maybe so, but, I would bet that you parents came from somewhere! It is not about heritage, is is about your place of birth or the birth place of you parents.

I was born here, to legal parents, I guess I am a native american then!

Should we start with the College campuses where Conservatives have been silenced by the roudy left?

You need to know what taking away freedom of speech really means. It is not being ban from a message forum for saying something someone dose not like. It means being arrested and put in jail.

1. This is getting a little away from the OP.

2. What do you think would happen if someone wanted to discuss gender flexibility on the Bob Jones University campus? Campuses have the right to decide who can speak publicly and where. Limiting free speech would mean making certain forms of speech illegal - don't get me wrong, some forms of speech are indeed illegal - but campuses regulating speech is NOT limiting free speech. One could literally cross the street and start right up again.

I just want to thank you for your voice of reason. Thank You!

But if my great greats greats didn't! Then if this gets changed. Great grandma  wont be legal. Which means grandma isn't legal. Then my parents! Then me! I don't even know how to speak German! What if they send me back there! :runforhills:

You know Yowm, you know there are all sorts of rights in the constitution, you just need to read between the lines. For example, the right to an abortion is guaranteed in the constitution, and if you look really hard, you might find that that means a taxpayer funded abortion, and certainly that private insurance companies have to pay for them as legitimate medical expenses, get with the program! However, is this thread about the constitution, or about opposing Trump and supporting criminal rights, I forget.

Has anyone ever been arrested for political incorrectness? Just wondering.

People have lost jobs over political correctness. People have had their lives ruined by political correctness. If I tried, Im sure I could find some news item where someone was arrested because of it.

Preventing someone from speaking at a particular venue through means of violence (as we have seen on college campuses) is a violation of their freedom of speech.    It doesn't just happen on a government level.

You are trying to artificially narrow the definition to omit the misbehavior of those on  the Left who want to prevent the free exchange of ideas in the ONE venue that should be the most protected venue for free speech, that being college campuses.   That is the one place where different perspectives should be allowed to be voiced.    But the Left has decided that conservative voices should not be heard and they are all too willing to let rabid Antifa groups on campuses shut down and threaten conservative speakers to the point that the speakers have to fear for their safety if they step foot on campuses.

That is illegal and a violation of constitutional freedom of speech.
