Well, my husband just changed jobs due to his previous contract ending and he took a major pay cut so we are having to sell our house and we've been working like crazy lately getting it ready to sell and right now I have a couple of men over here refinishing my hardwood floors and...

The Lord spoke to us this past November that changes were going to be taking place in our lives, that he was going to move us and the church that meets in our home to a new location. I asked the Lord for a sign that he wanted us to sell our house, and he gave us a BIG ONE!

Yesterday we were supposed to meet with a realtor at 5:30 p.m. to discuss what price we should list our house for and the night before I received a phone call from a neighbor in the next neighborhood over from us who said they would like to buy a house in our neighborhood and would like to look at our house. She and her husband might be making an offer today and we could sell it FSBO and not have to pay high realestate fees!! That would be GREAT!

My husband is supposed to be receiving a job offer this morning at 11:30 a.m. from the company where he has been a contract employee for the past 6 weeks.

The couple interested in buying our home has sold their home and they were processing a sale on another house when that fell through because the house had a major leak, so they have already gone through the loan approval process. They have to be out of their house by the end of this month, so if they make us an offer today and we accept, we could be moving in two weeks.

Everything is moving so fast, but we know God is in it and he has a plan for all that is happening. We are praying about where we are supposed to live and where to locate the church that meets in our house, so we would appreciate your prayers for God's leading and also for physical strength.

You know I will pray for you. My life is pretty boring:

I am working out alot due to stress so it helps!

I work alot at a job I really don't care for with the scare of being deployed.

Trying to have children with my husband!

Getting ready for a two week vacation to NH,which I am thankful for.

Looking to buy a house up in NH.

Can't wait to get out of the service!

See, my life is boring!

Constant,

Our son, Steven is in Iraq now. I just received an e-mail from him. Isn't technology wonderful at times like these? I can receive an instant letter from my son from all the way from Iraq. Oh, he does not have to drive around in a truck with a machine gun like he thought. They have given him an office job. And, he is at Tallil Army Base in An N... something in southern Iraq not far from Kuwait.

He is concerned about leaving his wife behind, but we are taking good care of her. She and my daughter just signed up for an apartment together today and she will be getting a job soon and going back to school in the fall. She already has a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

I hope all goes well with your move to NH and that you and your hubby have your quiver full of children. And, I hope you do not get deployed.

Your life does not sound all that boring to me. Do you do any kind of ministry in a church or in your community? That is usually rewarding.

It is great to have goals, isn't it? I meet so many people who have no direction and no goals and they just kind of exist. I think it is fantastic that you have such high aspirations for yourself. I hope and pray it all works out for you and that you get to realize your dream. Just remember that it doesn't take a seminary degree to "shepherd" God's people. All of us can be types of pastors in our caring for others in the body of Christ. In fact, I think the best pastors are the ones who have done that naturally w/o a degree so that when they get their degree they already are experienced and have proven themselves.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
