The construction of NEOM. Saudi's $500 billion mega-city

I just learned recently of this development of a new city in Saudi Arabia called NEOM.

Neom (styled NEOM; Arabic: نيوم‎ Niyūm) is a Saudi project for a smart and tourist cross-border city. The project is located in the far north-west of Saudi Arabia. It will be constructed in Tabuk. It includes marine land located within the Egyptian and Jordanian borders. ^[2] It will cover a total area of 26,500 km² (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

Saudi Arabia aims to complete the first section of NEOM by 2025. The project has an estimated cost of $500 billion. Saudi Arabia aims to raise $300 billion through an IPO of state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco.^[3] This IPO was initially planned for the second half of 2018, but Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated in October 2018 that the IPO will be delayed until "late 2020, early 2021." ^[4]On January 29, 2019, Saudi Arabia has announced setting up a closed joint-stock company named NEOM with $500 billion.^[5] The aim of this company that wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund, is to develop the economic zone of Neom.^[6]

Inauguration of the project

The city was announced by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman at the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 24, 2017.^[8] He said it will operate independently from the “existing governmental framework” with its own tax and labor laws and an "autonomous judicial system."^[9]

The initiative emerged from Saudi Vision 2030, a plan that seeks to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on oil, diversify its economy, and develop public service sectors.^[10] The German Klaus Kleinfeld, former chairman and CEO of Alcoa Inc., and former president and CEO of Siemens AG, will direct the development of the city. Plans call for robots to perform functions such as security, logistics, home delivery, and caregiving^[11] and for the city to be powered solely with wind and solar power.^[9] Because the city will be designed and constructed from scratch, other innovations in infrastructure and mobility have been suggested. Planning and construction will be initiated with $500 billion from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and international investors.^[12] The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion by 2025.^[13]

The deceiver is fast at work and his been working through all men in all religions .   He causes the chaos so he can offer his unity of all religions solution .

Our most dangerous adversary is controlling men within the christain religion itself .   Yes our judas comes from within our own religion .  in name only not in heart .

Oh but its deceptive .  highly deceptive .  many are under its lure and know it not .   My advice , let no man , woman , donkey , dog , peacock , parrot , any pets ,

It just makes for one huge target in a war. It is something that will have to be defended.

It will help keep raw materials for concrete glass and steels at  high prices around the world.

It will also  help cap a maximum price of oil as they will have to keep pumping and selling  oil, at the same time it will put  floor on the minimum price they can accept for their oil. 

It brings opportunity for commerce and with commerce it will bring population to a small competitive minded  upper class and with it a tremendous need for a worker class immigrant population, forcing tolerance of individuals with  no religion and also many religions, even Christians and Jews. There may wel end up being a Holy Spirit of God led revival and reveal  of jesus bringing many to maturity in Christ Jesus, as happened at Korea which started in th e1880's and culminated in 1907 revival. - hard to have a massive revival without a massive population gathered together. Might be in prayer for just such an event to come and soon. Where there are people there is opportunity.

Thanks for your opinions on the matter. From the video they are claiming to become the worlds biggest financial place, industrial place, AI place, they are welcoming all the top brains in each field to come work and live there. They mentioned that since oil may become less of importance in the future (to be seen) this is why they are looking to tap into all other fields  to keep that country going with resources.

Yes and also AI robotics. There can be dangers in who controls especially robotics.

They say that all religions will be welcome, but at the same time they are planning to build the biggest mosque ever. For sure their will be rules and if you don't follow them, consequences.

You can hear the saudi prince say that they there is no place here for terrorism , yet the saudi have been know to fund ISI.  A lot of two way talking. This country to this day conducts public beheading and crucifixion.
