I never understood why Cuba was on the axis of evil, or why there's no trade between America and Cuba. What's wrong with Cuba? I know it's a communist country, but that doesn't make it evil.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Cuba isn't on the Axis of evil. Iran, Iraq, and North Korea were.

If you want to know why we don't trade with them...look at history. Also, Fidel must be doing something wrong for thousands of Cuban immigrants to flee to the US each year.

I was merely correcting the method of forgiveness.

Possibly the same spirit that coaxes Leonards rants. If that is the case then I seriously repent.

This is a statement to coax LEONARD into another statement -- then "asking for" forgiveness.

Do you not see it?

Your brother in Christ with much agape love,

George

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That statement was to point out that I seriously believe that Leonard is equally guilty of being led by a spirit that is contrary to the Holy Spirit.

Leonard does not appear to see it this way. I have acknowledged my wrong doings and attempted a sincere apology. I've apologized to Leonard before for remarks I have made and we seem to have a mutual understanding. This reminds me of NHL hockey where one guy gives a cheap shot and the 2nd guy retaliates and the ref hands the penalty to the retaliator while the instigator gets to go off and give more cheap shots. Do you watch hockey George?

Not here in Israel  It's not a cold weather country! :)

By the way, retailating isn't the way to resolve differences. The way to resolve differences is to take the high road and allow the Spirit of God to bring forth peace!

May I suggest the same?

Your brother in Christ with much agape love,

George

BTW -- IRON sharpens IRON! It's ok when a brother reproves you in love knowing that the end result is a deeper holiness -- a deeper love for the LORD -- and a deeper love for the brethren!

If I ignore what's going on then the name calling and such just continues. Is this the kind of stuff that you want to be known for at worthy?

May I suggest the same?

I don't see how name calling and cheap shots is reproving you in love. Maybe we've moved on to a different topic

It's very easy to say look at history. I know they had some ties with the USSR, and some Soviet weapons were based there (which are no longer there). I know they went through revolution...which reminds me, I never did finish reading Castro's speeches. I'll go to those if my question isn't answered, but I am quite curious as to what the reasoning for this Cuba boycott is in America.

I didn't call you a name or say any cheap shots towards you!

I'm just being a brother -- and telling you the error that I'm seeing in love!

Did I tell you something that was wrong?

Your brother in Christ with much agape love,

George

They are not part of the Axis of Evil as laid down by Bush.

The reason for the sanctioning of Cuba is because they are Communist, they mistreat their pople, and up until the collapse of the USSR they were a constant threat as an invasion point. Is there a reason to keep the sanctions against Cuba today? Probably, for no Ameircan president has even hinted at lifting them. This includes Clinton...who would have been the president to do it. This means there is intelligence that we do not know about that keeps these sanctions on Cuba. Trust me, trade with Cuba would benefit our economy as well as theirs....so there has to be some reason for the sanctions in the modern era that we do not know about.

Actually I was referring to your apology and how it was not in the right heart.

And how when you ask for forgiveness how it should be thought about and how you should ask.

Basically I was just pointing out the error and correcting it -- correction is a good thing when it's done in love.

And believe me I am not correcting because I feel the "need" to, but rather correcting because I am desiring to see a deeper level of holiness and love spread among the brethren!

Love binds up even the most distressing wounds!

Your brother in Christ with much agape love,

George

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate. When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman. While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered. But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us! Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound. And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1 After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2 He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac. Where does he say to offer him? On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
