Hi Who Me. In my sphere of learning it is accepted that the word translated "temptation" here, and in the "Lord's/Disciple's Prayer" for example, means a lot more than the English "temptation" in the original text. Reading 1 Cor 10:11-15 it helps to know the Greek word "peirasmos", as below: (also interpreted as "testing" in some versions.)
